Well constructed mostly, fit not quite right.
I ordered one each (14W) in white, khaki, and black. They are very well constructed. Lizwear usually fits me perfectly, but the hemline on the pant legs on these are so tapered they are too tight and when I sit I have to pull them back down. So I took a point off for comfort. FYI: The description on a 14W: the leg opening is 17" (it is, barely). My calves are about 16 1/2". I think one needs at least a good inch to spare. The white pair is constructed from material that allows the white pocket linings to show through and from the back especially, it looks like I have two large stark white rectangles on my rump. No points for looks on the white ones! I suppose a white crop length bodyshaper type pant would have lessened this, but I don't feel I should have to purchase shapewear to compensate for the fabric. Also I wanted these for the golf course when it gets hot and shapewear would defeat the cooling aspect of these pants. Overall if the leg hems had been looser I would have kept the black and khaki pairs, but alas they are too tight and I am returning the pants. A larger size would be too loose in the waist and hips. For someone with more slender calves the fit would be great. Also, like many designer lines, the pants appear to fit a size larger. I would normally fit in a 16W (plus size) or 18 (regular).
Other brands recommended by reviewer: More Liz Claiborne of course!
