I would echo the previous reviewers comments regarding the heel area. The boot worked great on single day, two hour hikes. But it shredded my heels on multiple day hikes, especially when climbing uphill.

Excellent boot - except...
There is a seam or line of stitching inside these boots that runs right up the back of the heel pocket. It absolutely shredded my heels the first time I took these boots out on a real hike. Major blisters on both heels. I consider this a major design flaw. Perhaps for others it will not be so bad? Other than that, I think these boots are quite nice - that's why I'm particularly disappointed. I had high hopes for these boots.
