I am a home builder and extremely hard on shoes. I have worn all makes of boat shoes, and now I found the shoe that lasts - Rockport. I wear a 11.5 wide and they need to last, be comfortable and look good. The Rockport does all that. They withstand crawling under houses, on the roofs, and everything in between. And they have been the best work shoe I've ever owned. When these finally go, I'll buy another pair from Zappos. They have them here the next day and I don't have to go shopping. What's not to like?

These shoes were a disappointment! I ordered them in two widths for my husband. They looked great from the outside, but neither one worked for him. The problem is the quality of the finishing on the inside. They should be designed for wear without socks, yet the innersole sticks to the foot, the lettering rubs off the on the foot and every stitch and bump underneath can be felt through the innersole.

The tongue or top of the shoe comes further up my foot than is typical for this style of shoe. It's not as easy to slip on and off as other brands. I have a wide sole part of my foot and narrow heel and these fit my foot very well. The only other down side is they feel pretty stiff. The leather is not terribly soft or flexible. Seem well made, however.

These are OK...not as soft and comfy as Clark's Falcon...but may last longer...instep space is too low to allow stepping into this shoe...must untie and tie.

Comfort and Style -
Great quality and easy to clean. I have worn them through dirt, grass, and water and they still look new after I wipe them off and scrub the white soles. I got them in size 15 and they are really comfortable. The heel is not too thick, which is good for me because I don't want to be much taller than I already am.
