I was in the market for a good pair of solid black high tops for work. I work as a parking attendant and need something that's comfortable enough to run in, but more importantly (to me), something that looks good. I was going to go for another pair of monochrome black Converse, or possibly some high top Vans, when I remembered how great these shoes look in person. I was super excited to find them in all black, and leather even. They look better than Chuck Taylors, and they're a thousand times more comfortable. I usually wear a size 10, but for some reason ordered a 9.5. Glad I did. They fit beautifully. Oh, and thanks to Zappos quick (free) shipping, my shoes got to me a day earlier than UPS predicted. I love this company!

Glad I found these. I was set to order a pair of Converse but never sure which size to order. They run big, they run true, etc.. I normally wear size 9 and the high top Pro-Keds fit fine. Mine are all black which I prefer. I haven\'t had these long enough to judge long term quality but certainly appear in line with other similar brands.

Still kickin it -
Pro Keds Royals are the royalty of the canvas and vulcanized rubber shoe. Let’s be real here. All Stars kick it hard and they are truly classics, but the Pro-Keds are the butter of the class. Also, it seems that a few modern upgrades have been made to improve fit and comfort.
