These shoes are sexy but not over the top. Very high (they put me past 5'10"!!) but still comfortable, as in, I think I could spend several sitting/walking hours in them without a problem, though I haven't tried that yet. They look great with jeans. I take a 10, and have an average width foot and the 41 fits exactly right. I wouldn't suggest going down a size, as other reviewers have---that wouldn't have worked for me. The patent leather is kind of crinkly/sparkly and slightly variegated--very pretty in dark brown. The shoe itself is extremely lightweight. It works almost with a "flip-flop" action in that the heel separates about a 1/2 inch from your foot, then snaps back as you walk. But this is fine. With VIP service, Zappos had these at my door in less than 12 hours---kind of spooky!

I love the look of these shoes. They are high and add height, look great with everything. The straps hurt a bit, so make sure you have time to break the shoes in.

Love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable even thought they are high. I ordered them in purple and they are beautiful. The shoes are wide so try ordering a smaller size. I am glad I read that in another review because the smaller size was perfect. I do not recommend these if you have a narrow foot. I would love to order them in orange and sand but they are expensive. Well worth the price though if you are looking for great, comfortable shoes that you can dress up or down.

The most beautiful orange color ever! These shoes run wide, even for my wide foot and the arch doesn't meet mine, but it breaks my heart to return them. Undecided if I will keep them or not.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
