Great style. Very comfy, but I agree with other reviewers that the fit runs a little wide. If you have very narrow ankles, these might not work for you. I usually wear a size 7, but ordered down 1/2 a size. Hope this helps.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! These are comfortable (not plush) if you love flip-flips and don't care about not having a lush sole. That said, I took on the mean hills of San Francisco with these for an all-day jaunt on and had no problems at the end of the day. My only recommendation would be that they add something on the bottom of the shoe to add some traction to it, so you're not occasionally doing the slippy "sidewalk shuffle". They run true to size - I usually take an 8.5, and these are 8.5, and they conform to your foot within a couple wearings. These have garnered tons of compliments on these, and I am so happy they're mine.

I just got these sandals and I LOVE them!! They're beautiful, made from wonderfully soft leather, and are extremely comfortable. I have high arches (the tops of my feet are quite high) and these shoes fit well in spite of that. The leather is quite malleable, and with all the straps, I bet they could fit a number of foot shapes. Mine don't gap around the ankles. These shoes are gorgeous!!

I love these sandals! Some other reviewers complained that they were loose around the ankle but I thought they were fine. They aren't tight but feel good and look good too. I get a compliment every time I wear them.

I originally saw these sandals in a catalog and thought they were beautiful - I had to have them. When I received them, I realized that the ankle straps were too wide. I almost kept them, but determined that for the price, they should fit perfectly and sent them back.

Gaps at ankle -
The sandal would have been fine, but some of the leather strips were cut much too long and caused an awful gap around the upper ankle portion leading around to the zipper. For women with average size ankles, this may not be the fit you're looking for. I hated to send it back, but it just didn't look good.

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
