This is the best basketball shoe I've ever owned. I was looking for a high-top, extremely well cushioned shoe with strong ankle support, and this shoe has got it all. The cushioning is really great, both on the heel and the forefoot and it's very lightweight, which makes them great for running in the court. Jumping feels great and landing feels even better. The shoe and tongue are not very thick as other models (like the Air Max Spot Up), but not extremely thin (like the Hyperdunks), so tightening your laces will not hurt your feet, because the shoe embraces your foot softly and it feels really snug. The ankle support is very nice I think. As I said, you can tight up your laces as much as you want and you won't feel pain and will still have a lot of freedom to move. I used them for about a month without extra support and felt great. However, they are not really hard, I mean, this shoe adapts to your ankle and moves along with it, but it won't provide the kind of support that restrains your movement. I was coming back from an injury, so I wasn't playing really hard, and it felt great. If you have good ankles this shoe provides excellent, comfy support. Mine, however, are weaker than normal, so when I wanted to go back to full running and cutting, I had to go back to using extra support (I wear ankle supports with laces and plastic-bars on the sides and velcro straps), but those combined with these shoes are a great combination of support, cushioning, lightweight and style. The size seems to run normal and in spite of being men shoes these don't feel wide at all (I usually feel my basketball shoes wide cause I'm a girl and my feet are thinner than men's), so these might feel a little narrow for men, maybe. Breathability is okay, nothing glorious but totally decent and acceptable. Another thing that I'd like to point out is that I removed the original insoles and changed them for Spenco Q-factor ones and they feel even more awesome. If you're a girl, I highly recommend that.

Awesome basketball shoe. Very comfortable. Provides great support and traction. Cushioning is solid. I have a slightly wider than average foot and I have no problems with my pinky toes rubbing on the sides.

I have been wearing this style of shoe for the past 4 years. The support and comfort continue to impress me with the new model. It is extremely light weight, and my orthotics fit just fine.

Great basketball shoe. I bought these at a shoe store, and I only had the white one up as an option, and I'm definitely glad that out of all colors, that one was available! The shoe is a little hard to fit into, but other than that it was great. I fell in love with the shoe, but I'm not sure if I’d recommend buying them for casual wear instead of basketball use.

 |  | You need a portal just for testimonials! I am an enthusiastic fan of Zappos! I live overseas but I have a home in USA. I shop the latest styles and fashions on Zappos.com in Denmark, ship them to my USA address and pay with my Danish bank card...no hassle. Your “competition” will not allow me to do that and they place the burden of identity verification on me. When I try to place an order from Denmark to ship to my house in USA they cancel my order. When I call in to determine why they do not use a more sophisticated method of credit card verification like “Verify by Visa” they tell me they cannot reinstate the order. I spend about 3K per month in shoes alone and I am more than happy buying them all from Zappos now. I shop Zappos exclusively now for the great customer service, ease of use, selection and confidence in knowing that the purchases I make will be honored in a way that provides service to the customer. I started with buying shoes, I am now looking at all the other wonderful things Zappos offers as a result of the service and value provided through this company!
