I really like this dress. It fits well and seems very versatile. I have worn it with a wide brown belt, for a more casual event and with a fuchsia sash for a pop of color.

Love it!
I love Zappos. Ordered the dress Saturday night and got it Monday. It's very comfortable and fit perfectly. I'm 5'4" and weigh 138 lbs, 34DD bra. Love this dress!

I bought this dress in black size XS. The fabric is perfect, not too casual, not too dressy. In the picture I thought it looked kind of like bathing suit material but it's not, it's just like a thick stretchy t-shirt material. I normally take a size 0 or XS, and the XS fits perfectly. It is a bit revealing (if you peek in you can see the bra at a certain angle) unless you have huge boobs I guess. But I'm a 32C and you could see the bra. That's why I am going to wear a black lace trim cami underneath it, which looks great. I think it looks even better with the cami underneath anyways. The material is very versatile! You can wear dressy heels or regular flip flops and it will look fine either way. I'm wearing this dress to a wedding so I'll be wearing black high heel pumps. I tried it on last night with my entire outfit and it looks great :-) Would be perfect for a funeral or any other semi-formal occasion as well. I'm 5'4" (and wear regular length jeans - not short or long), and the hem hits just above the knee, perfect length. I don't regret this purchase at all. Only thing is, if I were to wear it without the cami underneath, I'd have to shorten the straps by just about maybe a 1/2 inch, no more than that. But with the cami underneath I don't need to :-)

This dress is so cute! I took the advice to size up but that didn't work out for me. I'm 5'3", 130 lbs, size 6 with a 34D chest. Based on some of the other reviews I bought this in a medium. It was too big all over and the straps were way too long. But, the dress was so cute that I decided to try washing it in the hopes it would shrink in the dryer. It did not. But I loved the dress so much I bought the long-sleeved version in a small (fits perfectly) and will give the medium to a friend. I will say that the v-neck is pretty low. Careful bra selection is needed. I do not feel like I am hanging out (and I am a D-cup) but some of my bras show in this dress. Not a problem if you are throwing it on over a cute swimsuit, though.

The Margot is an adorable, versatile little dress that is cool, comfortable and packs/travels well. It can be dressed up or down depending on shoes and jewelry. I am usually a size 8/medium, but ordered a large because I have a big chest. It fits well and is not clingy, although I had to have the straps shortened to compensate for my short torso. Not the fault of the dress.

I bought this dress because I was looking for something for my hubby's homecoming. I wanted something nice, but not too showy for the airport. This dress is perfect. It is very comfortable and fits my curvy shape well. The straps are wide enough to easily put a bra on without having to worry about it showing. Other reviewers have noted that Patagonia's sizes run a tad small and I agree. Normally I wear a medium, but I bought the large in this dress & it fit perfectly.

Love this dress. Love it. I went by the previous reviews and they were all right. The first dress that I want to order in other colors. The shape is sexy and flattering. I'm 5' 3" and it's just shy of knee length. Does run small, but I'm happy with the fitted look. Best dress ever.

My daughter needed an attractive summer dress at an affordable price. We looked at lots of websites and catalogues. Zappos had a great selection. We were thrilled to find this Margot dress by Patagonia at a good price. We were even happier when the dress arrived just a few days later and looked stunning on her.

Fantastic Dress! I needed something to wear to a wedding and could not find a thing! Zappos saved me though and I now have the perfect little black dress that can dressed up or down. I am only 5\'2 and this dress hit at the knee. I also have a large chest so like other reviewers I sized up and it was a perfect fit. My only issue was when I first tried it on I did not find it that revealing on top, but as the day went on I found myself adjusting a lot. I may need to pin it next time! Other then that I was very happy. Another great feature is that this dress is very bra friendly. Overall very happy!

Love this dress! I am a jeans and tank top girl (38 year-old "girl"), but this dress rocks my world. I live in sweltering (currently) Austin, TX and I often forsake fashion for comfort. I bought this dress in black from REI (virtually same price as Zappos) and loved it instantly. It's very well made, the fabric is surprisingly sturdy but not stiff, it's comfortable, and the cut is flattering (I'm tallish with big boobs, small waist, huge hips, tragically flat butt). This dress goes everywhere. It is low maintenance (machine wash and dry!) and it is crazy cute with flip flops or with heels. I liked it so much, I bought it in plum from Zappos a month after I bought (and proceeded to live in) the black one. Going to buy the blue one next. Wore it around the yard this weekend; wearing it to a wedding next week. Also, it's organic and guilt-free (aside from the price, which is actually quite palatable for the quality). I like it. Buy one. Or two. Or three!

Love this cute dress! Get it!
This dress fits great - I bought the earthenware and love the cute band of color at the empire waist. I am a size 12-14 and bought an extra large. As with most Patagonia - buy one size up and you are good to go. I feel cute and dress is comfy and slimming. My husband loves it!

Amazing Dress!
I love this dress! The cut is perfect for my shape. I'm smaller on top and larger on the bottom so most dresses don't fit me well. This one has enough of an a-line to skim over my bottom half and the fabric is very comfortable.

This is a GREAT little dress. Cute and comfortable. I did size up and feel more comfortable in the larger size; the dress will stretch and accommodate any size figure-it depends on how tight you like to wear your clothing. I bought the purple and black. I can wear the black casually or with a jacket for a dressier look. Great buy; will also pack great as you can roll it up easily.

Gorgeous yet practical dress. Sturdy fabric, good sized straps to hide bra straps, a little low cut in back to hide bra back, but overall a keeper...and it's organic cotton. Some have said it's a little low cut, probably for the office, but perfect for a vacation or a day out and about. I don't feel like it's too revealing. Also, cannot believe how fast it was shipped! Patagonia and many of its retailers did not have this item and color in stock and here it was... on my porch the next day! Thanks Patagonia and Zappos.

The style is cute and the fabric is soft but I couldn't get the straps to work for me. I'm 5'6 and slim, ordered the XS and the bust area bagged open. I tried pinning the straps shorter and still didn't like how much chest/bra it revealed. I'm not comfortable going braless. I am returning it, maybe cute on a busty 20-year-old.

I love this dress so much that I now have three of them in the colors plum, black, and blue spanish tile. The sizing is right on...also bra straps fit nicely under the dress straps so that is a plus. I love the low v neckline which is very attractive without being obnoxious. The "cummerbund" area is a very cute addition with the "rouching" of the fabric in that area (which can help conceal as well). It has an a-line cut which falls nicely to just above the knee (depending on your height...I'm 5'4"). The fit is so comfortable and non-constricting. So versatile too! I wear this with wedge heels (J-41 Lyon...check them out at Zappos!) for a dressier look for work and dinner out AND also wear these dresses with flip flops for a really casual look. (Try the Teva Mandalyn Wedge). The material is stretchy and a great weight for drape...not clingy at all...substantial but not heavy...not see-through. This dress could stretch to three seasons for sure with a cute sweater or jacket...perfect for hot days just as is. A friend also has this dress and her body type is so different than mine...I'm more of a slim athletic type and she is more curvy with larger hips and chest and this dress looks great on both of us. So try it...you will love it! Did I mention the price?? $60 for a Patagonia dress?? Buy it!!! You can lose with Zappos free shipping and returns!

I love this dress. I traveled for three weeks in Europe with this dress. I climbed the Acropolis in this dress. It didn't wrinkle in my backpack, washed out well, is light weight and very comfortable. If you are looking for a casual, comfortable traveling dress I would recommend this one. I really like the cut, although it is cut a little low in front.

This was only my second time buying from Zappos but it won't be my last. I chose it for the fair price and free shipping both ways since I was unsure whether my dress would fit. The shipping was ridiculously fast! The dress is a slim fit so I ordered one size up and it fits perfectly. The dress hits just above my knees so it's a great length. I am even thinking about buying more in other colors.

Great dress. Like others have said, it is a fitted in the tummy area, but very nice looking, and very comfortable. Also, if you wear petite sizes, you might need to shorten the straps a little. I'm 5' tall, and the dress fits me at the knee.

A wonderful dress. This is my 4th dress ordered from Zappos. They do a great job getting products to you ASAP... and I live in the middle of the California high desert. The post office can't even do overnight shipping. Anyways, the dress is made of a very soft material. Falls just below my knee and I am 5'4. It is a little tight at the midsection, but I could stand to lose a few pounds. Love Patagonia! I am truly free advertising for Zappos. I tell everyone to use their service.

I've really enjoyed this dress! It fits pretty close to the body, but I'm very thin and athletic so it's actually flattering to my otherwise non-existent figure. I have the Spanish tile/blue color, and it's wonderful, but it seems a little more dull than the picture shows. The organic cotton feels great on the skin too, especially in humid Georgia!!

This dress is extremely comfortable. While it is somewhat tight around the middle at first, it loosens up a bit after wearing. My biggest problem with the dress is that it is not large enough for my chest. This makes it too revealing. I wear a d-cup and I have to safety-pin the dress to make it appropriate. Even then I show a lot of cleavage.

I bought this dress in the brown and dark blue print colors, with the intent of sending one back after trying them on. Well, I loved them both so much that I've decided to keep them both. This is a great dress. V-neck is flattering, straps are wide enough to cover bra straps (although the support is good enough for me as a 34B that I don't really need a bra!). Length is perfect, and material is super-comfy. I do have to agree with the other review who said it is tight in the tummy, but it isn't so much that I feel uncomfortable. If your problem area is your belly, you may want to size up. Bottom line: GREAT dress. I am never disappointed with Patagonia or Zappos!
