I purchased these boots and loved them, I have had trouble with finding the perfect fit around the calves; however these fit great! I love them, unfortunatley the heel is not as sturdy as I had hoped and why I have to return them. I am really dissapointed if the heel were sturdier, I would keep them!

These are some hot boots! I have big calves, 15" or so around. I can barely zip these, even with the elastic on the side. I got them in the mail today. I have the right leg on, but cannot for the life of me zip the left side. Not sure if it's just stuck or not. I'm wearing them around the house to see if they will loosen up. If worse comes to worst I might have to return them, not that I want to. The suede is nice, and the "covered" heel is really a stacked heel, which I like. I'm normally a 6.5, but I bought a 7. They seem like they would be comfortable for a good length of time.

Very hot, sexy boots for a fantastic price. I bought the black suede pair. Thinking about buying the brown suede pair. I read the reviews about the boots being big around the calves. They were just fine for me, but I am tall (5'9") and athletic (an avid runner). I've always had problems with boots being made for shorter women, where the boots would skim right well below the knee. These hit right at the knee for me which makes me want to buy another pair quick! They are also very comfortable and look great with skirts. Zappos shipping was fast! I'd recommend this product!

Beautiful boot!
Love the look of this boot...brown suede is really rich looking. I wore them out last night & received a ton of compliments. While the calf is a bit wide, I can tuck my jeans in no prob with a bit of space to spare. However, I don't know if I would wear them with a skirt as the calf might be too baggy. They are fairly comfortable for a high heel, but definitely wouldn't consider standing in them for any great length of time. Overall a great buy for the price & Zappos service is first rate!

Great, but...
I saw this boot on someone else and had to ask where she got them - I loved the look. Apparently it's very popular because I couldn't get it in something other than suede to save my life. Decided to go for it anyway. I was a little worried about the other reviews that pointed out how big the calf was. Got them today and WOW the calf is HUGE. I'm sending them right back. I love this boot, but the shaping and space are just too much for me. If your legs are on the thinner side, this may not work for you.

Hot boot, if you have larger calves -
I really like the look of these boots, but the calf is too big. I'm thin, but I usually do okay with knee-high boots. These looked absolutely ridiculous on me--definitely bigger than most boots I've owned or tried on. I ordered my normal size and the foot fit fine, but I can't run around with an inch of extra leather sticking out from the back of my leg. Not even passable over pants, unfortunately.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: L.A.M.B. boots, if you like the high heel/covered platform.

Big calves -
Pretty boots but the calves are huge, and I don't have tiny calves. It's so bad that I'm going to have to have them taken in drastically. The heel is flimsier than I expected it to be as well. Leather soles need to be zip-soled, so this boot will end up costing me way more in the end.

Smokin hot boot -
These boots are fabulous. Even though they are quite high, they are easy to walk in. I got the brown suede and am tempted to get the black leather ones as well. They fit true to size. I have a large calf and had to have them stretched a bit so now I can wear them over jeans. You will love these boots! I find all Type Z boots to be awesome.

Love This Boot!
My New Favorite Boots!! These boots mimic the Christian Louboutin Alta Ariella Platform Boots but at a much more affordable price! They are HOT, I absolutely love them! They are a high 5 inches but I wear 4 inch heels on an average day and these were comfortable especially with the rounded toe and platform. Wore them to work for a full day then off to a basketball game for the evening -- about 14 hours. That's a really long day and the pads of my feet were a bit sore but my feet still felt remarkably great! And kudos to Zappos who upgraded my shipping! Ordered them on Tues and received them on Thurs, can’t ask for better service than that!!

I love these boots!!! The only problem is that they run 1/2 size smaller... I will return them for a size 5. Otherwise great pair of boots...

I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful!
