I fell in love with the way these shoes look. I am not a dancer but dancing shoes are extremely comfortable. I bought them for street wear, so when they came I had a shoemaker put leather soles and heels on them.I do wish that the strap fastened with a proper buckle. The slide buckle makes me nervous. I may have that replaced over time. I cannot give them a full five stars due to the buckle issue, however I love them.

Thanks for the great shoes, Zappos. I ordered these shoes in gold and received them the next day. They look great and I was able to wear these two nights in a row without any pain (and I normally don't wear heels). I guess these shoes are supposed to be for dancing, but they are great party shoes, too. I love them!

This is a great shoe. It is very comfortable, not bad looking either. Not sure how it would hold up in the long run because the soil is very thin. They do not wear well on the dancing floor.

This is my 4th pair of dance shoes and is by far the most comfortable. It feels very flexible, like a jazz shoe with a good, solid heel. I can literally feel the boards of the dance floor through the shoes, yet they are well-cushioned and needed almost no breaking in. I like the friction-type buckle on the strap (no holes), which enables me to fit the strap perfectly to my small-boned ankles without punching additional holes. Would love to see these features incorporated in a dressier shoe for special events and competitions.

I bought these shoes in gold, and I have been very pleased. The shoes are a good heel height for me. I don\'t like really high, spiky heels. The gold is shiny and attractive, and I think the shoe is comfortable. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet for several hours and they served me well.

This shoe runs small. I had to order a 1/2 size up and thank goodness they carried 10 1/2. Lots of comfy cushiness. I look forward to using these for my beginners swing class!

Great shoes. Use for Argentine tango and they were comfortable the first time I used them, no breaking in time. I needed 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes.

I bought these to wear to a wedding. These shoes are made for dancing. They have the cork sole for non-slip, and totally adjustable strap for a perfect fit on the ankle. Super comfortable. I usually wear 10.5 wide, which is very difficult to find. These were available in a 10.5, but I had to settle for a medium width, but it turned out to be just fine. The only thing I would have preferred is that the gold could have been toned down a bit so not so bright. But overall, a great shoe.

I wanted shoes for dancing and these are great! They are very comfortable, just the right height, and attractive. I do have some difficulty buckling the straps but I hope to do better with more practice.\r\nAfter shopping in many stores for dancing shoes, shopping at Zappos was the best. I had many shoes from which to choose and got just what I wanted.\r\nThe service was fantastic; I ordered on Wednesday and my shoes were at my home on Friday.

I loved this shoe when I first put it on! It is immediately comfortable and stays on your heel and foot. I like it better than the DanceLites I have been wearing for years! You might want to order a half size larger than street shoe size if you want to put pads under the balls of your feet, but the padding is adequate without it. It is well made and is well balanced. I like the X strap because it holds your foot in the shoe really well, but doesn't bind or pinch your ankle. No complaints about this shoe at all. Of course, if it doesn't work for you, you can just send it back, order another size, etc. I love Zappos! Their customer service is the best of any kind of online store! Keep up the good work, Zappos!

I tried the Capezio version of this style, the cross strap style, and found them so snug in the toe, I gave them away! The Bloch version fits me better and has some nice padding. Flexible in the toe area and stiff for support in the arch. The black suede soles look very sleek overall. I'm going to wear them salsa dancing. We'll see how my feet are after a few hours. One side note, I wear a 7, but I have very stout strong legs and so the ankle strap barely made it around my ankle. They looked nice on, though.

Now this is a first. I usually have to break in shoes, but I wore these brand new shoes dancing for 3 hours and not only did my feet not hurt, but I had started to develop a blister on one of my toes, and thought I couldn't go dancing that night. When I gingerly put these shoes, expecting my toe to hurt, I felt nothing; the cushioning inside the shoe was so soothing. Fabulous shoes; wish I could get them in ivory or bone color. Going to order in black. The gold looks too bright in the photos.

Size 11 too small -
What was I thinking? That an 11 would actually be an 11... Story of my life. Half a size too small - they don't come larger. I think the hard rim of the toe box would have broken in, but the stiff heel cup - unlikely or with blisters... Not a keeper for me.

I am very pleased with this shoe. A friend has it and loves wearing it. In fact, I have noticed a number of women wearing this particular style. I tried on my friends before I purchased mine. It is a very comfortable shoe with a lot of suppport, style and easy to dance in.

I bought these shoes after beginning ballroom dance classes. The shoes are both comfortable and supportive. They have the proper soles for ballroom dancing and the special buckle helps you to get the perfect fit. They are padded as well which allows you to dance longer without tired feet. I would definitely recommend these shoes to others starting out in ballroom dancing.

I ordered these shoes looking for something comfortable but not frumpy. They are FABULOUSLY comfortable, true to size, and pretty. I should have thought about them being made for dance floors - I was looking for something to wear to walk in at work. That being said, I love them and will look into getting them re-soled for daily wear b/c I love the way they feel.

Unbelievable Product and Service!
My firstborn is getting married on June 6th and I wanted a gold shoe that was both stylish and comfortable. I literally ordered this Bloch ballroom shoe less than 12 hours ago and was shocked to see it on my doorstep today. I did not order any special shipping either! The shoes are beautiful and very comfortable. I know I will be able to wear them throughout the entire wedding/reception. I am a ballroom dance teacher also and will recommend these shoes to my students.

This shoe is simply amazing where comfort is an issue! I love how they fit - especially if you have not quite a narrow foot. I am in between a narrow and a medium width. It is a great looking shoe and makes me feel very graceful!

Look better than they feel -
These are just okay. I've had dance shoes from other brands that are more comfortable, though. The problem isn't the fit; it's that there appears to be not enough padding under the ball of the foot. There's just barely enough padding to make it though a 45 minute lesson. I'll try adding gel inserts. I like the buckle arrangement and the heel height is perfect.

Love the shoes -
I was impressed with the fact that the site carried shoes in sizes not commonly available. Having larger feet, I have difficulty buying, especially if I can't try on the shoe first. The return policy made this much less of a worry and the order came so fast I was very pleasantly surprised. I will be making more purchases from this site and I have already spread the word to co-workers.

Lovely Dance Shoe -
These work well for Argentine Tango. There is nice padding under the ball of the foot. The heel is a comfortable height. The buckles are great! Very easy to use.
