This is a follow-up to my previous review. I've worn the boots now for several weeks on many rides and they are holding up well. They are still very comfortable and fit perfect. One thing: they are for warm-weather rides. I wore them for 50 miles in 40 degree weather (probably a 20 degree wind-chill) and my toes were freezing! The tongue of the shoe and mesh on the sides allows the breeze through and your foot will get cold. They are not windproof! In hot weather, this is a blessing as it allows your foot to breathe. But in cold weather, you can definitely tell the temperature. For our hot riding weather in Texas, I'm keeping them.

I bought this boot at a rally in September '09. Unfortunately, the bottom grommet on the laces pulled out of the leather. It was probably a fluke, and the vendor returned my money. Now, that said, I'm buying another pair from Zappos. I'm a lady rider with a wide foot, and I have a touch of plantar fasciitis. This boot feels like a tennis shoe and as I walked around the vendors at the rally, my arch pain literally went away within minutes. The following day on a 150 mile ride is when the grommet pulled out. I was so disappointed, but the boot is so incredibly comfortable, and Zappos has such a great return policy, that I'm willing to give it another shot.

Close But No Cigar -
This is a cool looking boot that looks very functional. Unfortunately the devil is in the details and that's where this boot falls short. It's uncomfortable. Runs a half size larger and wider than normal. The finger pulls are a nice touch - too bad you can't get your finger in them. Could stand more padding and support.

Chrome Won't Get You Home -
It's a good looking boot but short on quality, especially for the price. A bit wide in the heel and narrow in the toe. Doesn't give the comfort or support you would expect at this price. The pull tabs are so tiny you can't get your index finger in them. All in all, they don't live up to expectations.

I ordered these boots for by husband...he says they are perfect even comfortable for walking. He was really impressed with the service. Looks like I’m going to turn him into a Zappos shopper after all. He never understood why I bought shoes off the internet until now.

I also wanted to send a much belated thank you for a service you did for me about a year ago. At the time, my son broke his leg very badly and we needed some "basketball breakaway pants" to put over it so he could go out of the house, as the cast was quite large. We couldn't find them anywhere, but my mother found them on your website. She called to order the pants and when she told you of our situation you sent them immediately on overnight delivery at no charge to us.
