6 year old boy friendly -
This so far has proven to be a good fit for my very active 6 yo boy. He naturally is not at all concerned with his appearance; good thing it is a dark, rugged looking shoe that doesn't show the dirt and holds up to heavy outdoor activity. I prefer to spend a bit more for something that will survive!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Chuck Taylors are also long-lasting, classic kids' shoes.

Shoe vs. Zappos -
We ordered this shoe for our 6 year old boy, because of its cool appearance, and because it was from Merrell. Within three weeks, the velcro detached from the strap. The GREAT news is ZAPPOS replaced the shoes HASSLE FREE. My son loves these shoes and the replacements seem to be holding up very well. ZAPPOS is the best - all the way around.

Great looking shoes and seem to fit my pre-schooler well. They look durable and aren't difficult to get on (always an issue with a pre-schooler).

I bought these shoes for my son and he loves them! He wears them almost every day. He has a high instep, but these are comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

The product seems well made and durable. We chose this product because my 7 year old liked the style and we have always had very good performance out of Merrell products. We placed our online order at 8 pm and had the shoes the very next day, even though we didn't request next day shipping, nor were we even charged shipping! That's impressive all by itself!

 |  | I have to say that you have an amazing company! Long story short...I've been searching the greater Chicago area for a pair of size 10 "wooly"
black Crocs for my husband's birthday (which is TODAY). Late YESTERDAY afternoon, I realized that I wasn't going to be successful in finding his size at my local stores and decided to order a pair from you; after all, I had received awesome customer service last year when I had ordered several pairs of shoes for Christmas. Anyhow, I ordered his shoes on your web site, fully expecting to receive them (maybe) sometime early next week. So, this afternoon, I had just finished wrapping up the email receipt to give to him when, lo and behold, Mr. UPS arrives at my door with none other than a ZAPPOS BOX!!! Now that is what I call customer service! How in the world you guys delivered in less than 24 hours is beyond me, but I just have to say that you made my day, and my husband's birthday. So thank you!!!
