Jarvis - Bought this boot in red; it is a nice, muted red. Was worried because one review said the leather was pebbly/cheap looking; maybe that was with a different color. I think they still look great; however, zipping the boot up is not without difficulty. Don't know if this would go away over time, and what's up with the 17 inch shaft height?! This boot is great in every other way, but I'm 5 ft tall and comes up to the lower portion of my knee. Shorties beware!

Cheap leather -
I had been eyeing these boots for months, so when they finally went on sale, I bought them but was so disappointed when they arrived! The shape is awesome -- so ladylike with that tiny heel, and the boots fit really well, BUT the leather looks fake and very cheap. Also, the green color was lighter & brighter than on the picture -- not a dark olive but almost a bright green. Not what I'd expect for boots this price! Sadly, they had to go back... Thanks to Zappos for the amazing service! I'm still on my quest for the perfect non-black boots!

They're cool.
GREAT toe room, GREAT calf room. Bought the red, which is a nice muted shade. Contemplating the black. Fit is true to size.

Great every day boot -
Fantastic, chic and comfortable boot but leather looks smooth in picture and is more pebbley in person--which is fine, it will just wear in better. Very pleased with this purchase! Roomy around the calf and by knee.

Cute boot, but -
This is a very cute boot, but I ordered it in the olive color and just decided I didn't need it. It does fit my very large calves, so for those of you who, like me, have trouble in that area - it's a winner. I did find the zipper up the back to be a bit of a downer. The seam just doesn't lie nicely and I think it cheapens the look of the boot. All in all - a nice boot though.
