My 10 year old loves these shoes!
I thought these shoes were kind of pricey; I only bought them because he needed them for a play he is in. But the enjoyment he has gotten from these shoes is well worth the money (aside from the fact he needed them for the play). It took him a few days to get the hang of them, but then he was skating around with ease. He has to exchange the wheels for the plugs when he goes to school or in some places, but he still enjoys them.

Adorable and pretty easy to learn -
Adorable styling. My son loves dragons so I paid the extra $5 for this style. He got them on Xmas and was Heeling around confidently by New Year's...He is 7. These shoes are great; because they make my son love to come to the grocery store with me (it has a great surface for heeling). Enjoy for your lil dragon.

My son is usually a size 3 in sneakers and I ordered him a size 4 in the Heelys and he said they were fine for him! He loves them and wears them all the time!

I bought these for my 9 year old son. He was excited with the huge selection, and the shoes fit perfect when they arrived. He loved the design and color. I loved the price and super-fast shipping. We will definitely come back to Zappos in the future.

Great shoe; takes a little practice -
My daughter loves this shoe. She found it harder than she thought it would be to learn to roll on the Heelys, but she picked it up with a day of practice. Don't lose the plugs or they can't be worn to school. Very sturdy and comfortable to her.

Wow, these are amazing. It’s rare that I can wear new shoes right away for a whole day of walking, but these did the trick w/out a single blister! VERY comfy, doesn't rub anywhere on the foot or toes, the low heel is great for walking around a lot, and the sole has great cushioning. These look amazing with jeans or work attire, you can basically wear them anywhere anytime. You’ll live in these shoes! Sizing felt just right.

Heelys Skate Shoes -
I had not realized how limited it is that you can use these skate shoes. Most shopping malls have signs forbidding these shoes and they can't be used on sidewalks with grooves or where there are any stones or dirt. I wish this info had been provided along with the shoe description. My son basically only wears them without the wheels and for that, the price is too expensive. The base of the shoe is extra high (to provide room for the wheels) but looks like an orthopedic shoe to me. I wouldn't purchase this shoe again.

My son loves them but keeps falling :)
These are good, sturdy, nice-looking shoes. They are clearly built to last and it’s very easy to change the wheels to normal shoes with the tool they provide (be sure you don't lose it!). However, Heelys aren't really that easy to use and take some serious practice. They offer a training DVD that I recommend.

These are my son's favorite shoes. If he could sleep in them, he would. My son has a little wide feet and the Heely's brand of shoe give him lots of space.
