Being a basketball player for 13 years and having bought so many basketball shoes, I can safely say that in my opinion, And 1 shoes seem to be much better than the other brands. The Rocket Mid provides excellent support and fit for a Mid top shoe due to the padded collar and tongue. They provide good cushioning in the heel, while maintaining a low sole which I find helps with their mobility on the court. The other great thing is the durability. While the soles on almost all the Nikes and Adidas I have worn have separated from the upper or the back of the upper has fallen apart after only a few months, And 1s seem to be consistently durable as I get full seasons worth of use out of them. They are so durable that if I am rushing out of the locker room and have no time to carefully put the shoes on, I can slide my feet in without breaking the back as I have broken a number of Nikes this way. Overall, And 1s are the most supportive, durable, and comfortable basketball shoes I've worn and I would recommend them to anybody.

These are great shoes for someone who wants the look of a black dressy sneaker. (I chose the all black ones.) I use them as I teach school and attend church. Important parts of the shoes are shiny to make them look as dress shoes.

Great shoes for the price. Before these shoes I owned some D Wades Mid. These shoes are pretty much better than the D Wades Mids in every way. They have amazing cushions on the top part of the shoe and look really stylish. They are also very light compared to most over priced jordans and nikes. Great shoe, only down fall is the sole of the shoe is un-removable so you got to suffer with the hard sole. Would definitely buy these again for the price.

Great -
Shoe is great. The heel seems a little shorter than a typical shoe's heel, so you end up putting a little more weight distribution on the heel, but you adjust to it quite easily. Overall weight of the shoe is great.

Shoes are ok I guess...
I like the look of these shoes a lot. They weren't that comfortable till I took the factory insole and put another insole in and then I really liked them, but then when I finally got them broken in, which took maybe two weeks, I had a shoelace strap break on me and now I can't use them like I would expect... If you are a casual player that doesn't run hard, then they might be for you, but if you are a serious player, look for something else.

Inexpensive basketball shoe -
These were for my 14yr old daughter. It is a good inexpensive basketball shoe. Since she has wide feet the men's shoe fits her much better than a womens shoe. She likes the style and fit. She told me it needs more padding/cushion in the bottom for when she lands after jumping. She uses these shoes for practice and her more expensive (and more cushion on bottom) Nike basketball shoes for games.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Nike makes a good basketball shoe also
