Different style for Born...
The toebox is a little different than I am used to seeing with Born clogs, a little tighter across the instep but after wearing a couple of time with heavier socks has stretched and fits comfortably now. These is a very cute shoe on and have received quite a few compliments!

Not quite your usual comfortable Born shoe!
This is a super cute shoe, however the toe box is both short and narrow, and my big toe and little toe rub painfully against the sides of the shoe (I'm hoping they will break in!). I ordered the same size that I usually wear for Born shoes, and the length of the shoe fits, just the toe area is cramped. The heel height forces your toes even farther down into toe of the shoe. In addition, the heel straps are a bit loose, but I do have narrow heels so on a normal width heel would probably be fine, though it is non-adjustable.

 | | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the dig deeper sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness. Rock over London, rock on Chicago. | | ~ Zachary S., November 07 2009
