Ordered these on Monday and they arrived on Wednesday afternoon (love Zappos!). Slipped them on and they were perfect. I have Born clogs that were very similar and I have loved them so I thought I would give these a try, especially thought they would be great for traveling. If you like Born shoes, need a general walking shoe, you will love these.

Great shoe but had to return -
I agree with all the recent reviews. I also bought the shoe with trips to Europe in mind. They look great with jeans or any type of pants and look super durable for lots of walking on uneven terrain. My problem, which caused me to return the shoe, is with the way it is constructed, the shoe & insole all being sewn together. The shoe has only medium arch support and I needed more but there was no way to obtain that. You cannot remove the insole & there is not enough room to add your own, so I would say the shoe is great for those who don't have a high arch!

I ordered these shoes because I needed something sturdy and versatile to wear for a trip to Peru. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe to wear as an alternative to my hiking boots. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. They looked nice with jeans and cargo pants and offered the comfort and support needed to walk all day on cobblestone streets and uneven sidewalks. \r\n\r\nNow that we\'re back from Peru, I find myself wearing them all the time! They\'re perfect for running errands, walking the dogs or for walking all day in the city. Very comfortable, easy to slip on and off, very lightweight. \r\n\r\nThey\'re not super sylish, but they\'re not too clunky or "orthopedic looking" either. A good basic casual shoe. They just sort of blend in with whatever you\'re wearing. I bought them in the brown and I would consider buying another pair in the black. They fit true to size and needed no breaking in time. They were comfortable right out of the box.\r\n\r\n

The shoes arrived quickly, as usual. They have a very cushioned sole and overall are very comfortable. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel; the style accommodates both. I will wear them as everyday shoes that I can walk a lot in & that look good. They have a very sleek look with jeans, a little like riding boots, without the confining top!

These shoes are extremely comfortable and give me the support I need. The leather is super quality and the I love the rich sable brown color. The shoe is true to size for me and my heel doesn't slip out, which they do with some shoes. As always, I can't say enough good things about the customer service Zappos gives!

Wow! These are super comfortable shoes! I wasn't exactly looking for slip ons, but thought I'd try these, and straight out of the box, I could tell they were fantastic shoes. My very average size 9 foot slipped into these shoes like they were custom-made. I did a lot of research on shoes to take on a trip to Europe (lots of cobblestones and wet weather) and these are going to be just what I need. With jeans, they look like boots; even my 18 year old fashionista gave them a thumbs up for style!

I was looking forward to a really soft comfortable shoe when I ordered these, but found it did not meet my particular foot needs. However, if someone was not prone to a problem with their foot, I could see where this shoe would really be a good fit and great looking for pants...I will be sending the shoe back, but had to say I am so impressed with the Zappos site...the impressive amount of choices and styles is an incredible find..not to mention, ordering these on Saturday night and having them on my door on Monday afternoon...incredible! I will be shopping with Zappos more and more now that I have found it...My problem: I need an incredibly soft shoe on the inside based on a pinched nerve that was found in my ankle, now fixed, having issues with finding anything comfortable to wear, high arch, a bunion etc...I can\'t get good advice on any one type of shoe from any medical professional, I think they just don\'t know....I plan on purchasing the goodfeet arch support system and try to find shoes to feel better with these supports, as I have tried them on in the store and could tell an immediate amount of comfort....I thought I could find that in an expensive shoe, but having a hard time doing it....Thanks Zappos for your customer service..

Bought these for a vacation to England and loved them! Right out of the box comfort! Wore these for almost 10 days straight while walking around all kinds of cities, etc. and my feet never got tired!

My first pair of Borns and I love them! Super comfortable right out of the box & they are perfectly true to size. Plenty of room in toe box, good arch support, very padded insole, beautiful leather. I guess the only complaint you could make would be that you cannot remove the insole in order to use an orthotic; it is part of the shoe & glued down. I often have to do that, but not with these. I will definitely look at other Born shoes. These are similar in style to my old Danskos, but way more comfy; much lighter weight and more flexible. And thanks to Zappos for fantastic, very fast service!

Wonderfully comfortable shoe for walking and standing. Great support and structure. Used them to walk long distances in Europe and use them as my go-to shoe for comfort daily with jeans and casual pants.

This is a comfortable, well fitting shoe, I've work them constantly since I got them. Overall, I would like a softer sole with more cushioning under the heel. I am 70 and walking on sidewalks, through the airport, or at events that require a lot of standing on hard surfaces is not as comfortable as a more cushioned sole would be. Well made, non-slip in ice and snow, easy to care for and beautiful leather.

Born is back with a comfortable kick back shoe. With jeans it has a boot look. Casual and neat looking. Not "clunky"

Fantastic!!! I am so glad I saw these shoes on my cousin. She said that she loved her Born shoes and they last for a long time. I've worn them with no foot problems at all! I would recommend these shoes to everyone!

Awesome shoe - This is a perfect shoe for work clothes as well as jeans. It is super comfortable. It is comfortable and roomy in the toe area. Nice soft leather. I got both brown and black! If you’re a half size go up to the next size.

 |  | Can I just say, I have always hated shopping for shoes until I stumbled upon Zappos. Zappos has changed the way I shoe shop. Since discovering Zappos, it is the only place I shoe shop. No more dragging from store to store to find the right shoes and the right size. I love Zappos! I have ordered dress shoes, boots and casual shoes from Zappos. On occasions I have had to return shoes because they just were not what I wanted; either they did not feel right or they were not the look I wanted. The return policy is so easy and Zappos does not make you feel guilty for returns! P.S. My husband even shops from Zappos now. He cannot believe how great the customer service is. We love you Zappos!
