So far, so good with my Eccos. They are lightweight, breathable and comfortable. They do run large, so order a smaller size than usual.

So far, so good.
These shoes are very light and comfortable. They slip on and off easily enough. I've only had them for a short while, so I can't comment on their durability.

So far, so good -
Bought these for my boyfriend as he was in need for some urban trekking shoes. He tried them on in a local store first - which was a good thing as they run very big! So far he is pleased with them and will use more in the summer as these shoes are well-ventilated.

Great, Great Shoe!
Wow! I love these shoes. Super comfortable. Light. Not a ton of arch support, but my custom orthotics fit perfectly once I removed the manufacturer's inserts. Love the look and the sole technology really does let you feel the terrain without being uncomfortable. Great soles. One word of advice - they run small. I typically wear a 9.5 and in most athletic shoes, I take a 10, but in these I take a 42 (European Size), which translates to a 8-8.5 U.S.

I bought mostly for the look -
Love the look and the shoes breathe nicely, so I'm still glad I bought them. However, not nearly as much arch support as I would have liked. Looks like some of the less expensive performance models may have better support.

Great Convenience -
This shoe has the best lacing system. The bungee laces are well designed on this shoe. You set the tension level, then these become slip on and off shoes. I'd buy more pairs if they had more colors. The "Karda" is the only model with this lacing system. The insoles are not the best, but for me, most are not. I replaced mine with some green Superfeet and it's a very capable walking/hiking shoe. It's rare that I don't replace the insoles, even on more expensive shoes, so I'm not marking the rating down. The shoe is VERY lightweight. Next to wearing just your socks, these are the next best thing. They seem to be cool, but have kept my feet warm enough in 40 degree weather (very versatile). I want some brown ones.

 | | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback. THANK YOU ZAPPOS! BTW - Morgan is doing great! Go Bucks! | | ~ Elaine C., September 26 2009
