These are fantastic boots (even though I have previously been a little suspicious of Dansko styling). I wore them on a trip to Paris, and they fit right in. Great with pants, but even better with skirts. On top of their great looks, these boots are also very comfortable. Lots of toe room, great arch support, good cushioning and stability. However, they may not be wide enough in the calf for some.

I am so pleased with these boots!! First, I would like to say that they are a PERFECT fit for my calves- not too big, not too small. Really can\'t beat the comfort, especially given these boots have a 3-inch heal. Bought them in the brown suede/leather combo and in black leather. BEAUTIFUL BOOTS! Thinking I might get them in black/leather-suede combo also because the suede-leather combo seem to fit perfect in both the calf AND ankle. Ankle in the black leather were a bit loose but still acceptable. I stared at both styles and tried to figure out the difference and finally decided it must be the difference in the types of leather. \r\nZappos, your service is BEYOND your call of duty! Sometimes I wonder how you are able to afford such FAST shipping. Then I realize that you people at Zappos are ALL about service. I recommend you to ALL of my friends!

The boots look great, but unfortunately were too tight on my calves and roomy through the ankle. So unless you have very thin calves, I would pass on these. Too bad, they were just the style of boot I was looking for.

I fell in love with these boots the moment I saw them! They even accomodate my wider (male) foot with no problem! After reading that the Tyra worked well for another reviewer I knew this boot was right for me. The soft polyurethane sole makes this boot not only quiet, but comfortable as well. I would say the Tyra is as comfortable as it is good-looking! I cannot wait to start wearing them this fall. I would highly recommend this boot to anyone.

Great, COMFORTABLE, knee-high boot. I am on my feet for up to 12 hrs at a time bartending and waitressing and these boots allow me to do it with ease. Perhaps a little more padding in the heel would make them the wonder boot. Still give a 9.0 on scale to 10. Got a compliment the first day I carried them to work!

I've been looking at these boots for a while and was ecstatic when Zappos had them on sale. However, I was disappointed when I tried them on and couldn't zip them up. The boot fit perfectly on my foot but I couldn't zip it up more than half way. I don't have a large calf but there was a good 3 inches at the top of the boot I couldn’t close. Too bad. They are great looking boots.

Great boot, wrong calves -
I really love Dansko's shoes, so after reading the reviews on this boot, I figured I would feel the same about their boots too. As other customers have commented, the fit on the foot is great, but the leather around the ankles was loose, (remedied by wearing socks folded down). The tops of the boot shafts were loose around my calves and down in the middle of the boot, there was a lot of extra material. My calves are too small, I guess!!

This is a great boot for travel - looks sophisticated but is very comfortable for walking and wearing for long periods of time.

Greatest boots ever made!!!
These are the most perfect boots ever created. It first they felt big in the foot but I realized that is the Dansko style so that your foot can rock and never get tired. The boot shaft is perfect with OR without pants under them. I run around all night at work in a restaurant and my feet feel fine at the end of the night. They don't show ware right away and they make your feet appear to be small. I tell everyone I know about these because they are AWESOME

I really loved these boots - so cute, and extremely comfortable, as I would expect from Dansko, but I had to send them back because they were just too tight in the calves. The first time I tried to zip them up I thought I wouldn't be able to, but was finally able to get the zipper all the way up, but they were uncomfortably tight at the top of my calf. I don't have particularly large calves, but I'm a former runner and do have some muscle and shape to my calves. I hated to send them back because I really loved the style and my feet were very comfortable. The problem could be solved by extending the stretchy gore a little further down the calf or putting a bit more elastic in the gore. SO close to being the perfect boot, but alas, they did not work for me.

All day boots -
I love these boots because I can wear them all day--they're very comfortable. They also look nice even in large sizes (I wear size 11). They fit the calf nicely too--not wide at the calf, like many boots.

Not Quite Right -
I'm sorry to have to return these boots. While they are extremely comfortable, they sag around the ankles. It's a shame because the fit on the foot is outstanding. I kept the Dansko Nevada boots, which aren't nearly as comfortable. I may regret my decision to trade comfort for looks...

I so enjoy my Dansko Tyra boots, I am diabetic and my feet get very painful sometimes, but not with these boots, beautiful soft rich leather too.
The 3 inch heel is perfect, I would recommend these boots to anybody with sensitive feet, they are very well padded too, true to size. I wear a size 7.5 and the size 38 was perfect.Thank you Dansko, and thank you Zappos for your friendly and great service.

Super cute, super comfortable. Wore them for the first time for 5 hours and had NO discomfort. I have very skinny calves - almost all boots have a large gap. These boots fit my calves perfectly. Do not buy them if you have average to large calves. They are a tiny bit loose through the ankles, but not so loose they look strange.

Great pair of boots!
This is a great pair of boots. I wear a Dansko clog daily; the boots are not the same fit as the clog but they are still comfortable. Very stylish and easy to walk in. If I had to complain about something it would be the very top part of the boot is a little snug. Nothing that won't stretch or keep me from wearing them. If you are looking for a cute, functional boot, this is the pair!

I WOULD have loved this boot...
I tried to convince myself that this boot fit, but it didn't. I really wanted it to because it's SO comfortable and it had the no nonsense look that I'm all about, but the calf rounded out where my calf didn't and it just looked wrong. The rest of the boot was great - only the calf didn't fit my skinny legs.

Love them!
These boots are really cute and comfortable. The reviews said that they run small so I originally ordered a size bigger but they were too big. I went back to my normal size and they fit perfect. No problems with the calf size. They look great with dresses and skirts.

Hot, Sexy Boots -
These boots are totally hot. The leather and suede are just beautiful. I maybe should have got the next size up. They are a little tight around the calf but they look great. Love Dansko, this is about my 10th pair.

Fab dress boots -
These are the most comfortable high heel dress boots I have ever owned. I wear them for commuting and at the office with a dress. I am a big Dansko clog fan and these boots live up to the comfort that Dansko is known for. Be warned, however, that the calf is narrow. Fits me fine but I've never had a boot that didn't fit in the calf. Anyone that has occasional problems will most likely find these boots too tight in the calf.

Great fit -
I ordered this boot and am impressed with how comfortable it is the first time you put it on. For me this is a great knee boot because it fits well through the calf. My calves are on the small side, so this is good. The only problem is that through the ankle area, it looks a little baggy. That's the only problem. Most people won't have that issue because their ankles are fuller. The heel height is perfect for everyday wear. I recommend this boot, very stylish, cute and comfortable!

Love these boots!
Super comfortable, I bought them and then walked around for two days in NYC. Not great for warmth, but they're a little big, so I could add an extra pair of socks.

Can't go wrong with Danskos -
I have 3 pairs of Dansko clogs so I thought I'd give the boots a try. These boots are the perfect fit for my small calves. I wear size 38 clogs, so I got the boots in size 38 as well. Since the boots are much more narrow than the clogs, they felt a little snug at first, but after wearing them for a day, they felt like the right size. I may have gone up a half size if that was an option, but these are only sold in whole sizes. The boots are pretty comfortable for having a heel that height. I highly recommend these boots if you have small calves.

Tyra and Zappos -
First time to use Zappos. I was really impressed by the quality service. I received the boots next day! I found some of the other customers' comments help but some don't. You do need to buy a size bigger, but the calf size really depends on your weight and shape of your legs. I weigh 115 lb with height of 5'3". I ordered size 38 other than my usual size 37. It fits well in terms of my feet length but the calf is way too big for me since I have skinner legs. In spite of the comfort, I had to return them since they make my legs look really funny. However, my experience with Zappos team was the best online shopping! Thanks.

When I filled out the return form online last night, I also ordered another pair in 4E and it arrived at 3:30 pm today! WHAT SERVICE!!! I will be keeping this pair as they fit great!
