I love these shoes. So I got the size 7 but I'm normally a size 6 1/2; they were too big. My heel kept slipping out. A week later I saw that a 6 1/2 was available and Zappos was kind enough to let me exchange them out. The 6 1/2 fit perfectly. They are true to size. I also received them the next day. They are high, but once broken in are comfy. This is the 2nd pair of the Dolce Vita Madison I have; I got the Nappa Leather brown last November and love those. However, that color isn't available anymore. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a chic high style comparable to most couture brands. Believe me, I have all the expensive brands and my Black Patent Leather Dolce Vitas are a compliment to my closet, as they are just as beautiful as my high priced heels. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes because they are classic and will be in style for a long time to come.

Would be perfect if heel caps didn't come off so easy. I have these in biscuit and brown. They are both so hot and pretty comfortable given the height. The only problem is that the heel caps fall off my biscuit pair so easy. I've had the brown way longer than biscuit and the heel caps stay on fine. I had to return my first pair of biscuit Madisons because the heel caps came off after about 4 hours of wear. Luckily Zappos was really cool about it. Now my second pair has lost the heel caps after about 2 days of wear. I love the shoes so I will just have the caps replaced, but I'll probably never buy another pair of Dolce Vita shoes.

I was looking for a pair of nude platform stilettos for awhile and I came across these Dolce Vita Madison heels and fell in love with them. They come off to be almost patent and shiny, but they aren’t that shiny at all, they are the perfect medium. I am a size 8.5 and they fit true to size. Super comfortable, especially for how high the heel is. The only complaint that I have is that there is slightly more toe cleavage than expected, but they still look amazing!!! As for Zappos, I received my shoes 2 days later from placing my order which was way sooner than expected. Great service and great shoes, couldn’t be happier.

These are exactly what I was looking for in a neutral-colored work-appropriate, but still sexy shoe, but wow, I’ve never had to concentrate so hard just to stay upright. I have experience walking in 4-inch plus heels, but the tiny toe box on this shoe means there’s not much keeping a my foot in place and my heels easily slip out (and there’s no way my toes would fit in a smaller size - had to walk around the apartment for a while just to smush my toes in). Still, they’re too pretty to give up on yet. And I like the toe cleavage.

I get a ton of compliments on this shoe - I have the biscuit color ones. They are pretty high, so if you are not used to walking in heels these are not for you. For the height, they are actually pretty comfortable. I am really happy with them and of course love Zappos!

I bought these shoes in the Biscuit color - they are FANTASTIC. I was worried about them being too high of a heel, but with the hidden platform they're really not that bad. I wore them for about 3 hours (standing the whole time), and my feet were surprisingly okay. The color was also just what I was looking for; a perfect tan color that'll go with so many things. I'd definitely recommend them!

I ordered these in biscuit and black patent, one in size 10 and one in 11 (I'm 10.5). The 11 was far too big, fitting in the toes but gapping at the heel. The 10 was snug but I could have dealt with it and been in a bit of pain. The toe box is tight and the patent made the shoes pretty rigid. I would order true to size and not go half down as some other reviews said. I sent these back because of the fit problems but also because I was assured by several male sources that the biscuit color was an "old lady color." I am fair skinned and biscuit just didn't flatter my skin tone at all. The black might be good for going out at night, but it looked inappropriate for daytime or work. The shoes are really hot though and made me feel sky high.

I'm a true 6.5M and am glad I went with true to size. I did have to get both the 6 and the 6.5 to find that out, however. For such high heels, they really aren't terribly uncomfortable. Love the knockoff Louboutins look. Wish the biscuit color was a bit deeper since my skin tone is sort of a medium olive. If you're fairer-skinned, they'll be perfect. Still super sexy and leg lengthening though. They come with a dust bag and extra rubber heel replacement tips, which is a nice touch. Quality is decent, though not fantastic. Parts of the leather on my pair weren't perfectly glued together. Maybe a bit over priced, but kinda worth it for the look.

Was so excited to receive these shoes, but was disappointed when I first pulled them out of the box. The color was a lot darker than the picture indicates, as I was looking for a bright lipstick red patent pump. The leather wasn't very shiny, it was more dull, and did not look brand new. The shoe was very dusty, so much that I could wipe the dust off with my finger and see the tracks that it left. Also, the leather crinkled when the shoe was on my foot, making the material look cheap. On a positive note, the size was perfect, and the shoe was very comfortable for such a high heel height. In the end I will be returning the shoes.

A Very Classic Shoe -
The shoe is extremely comfortable with the height and the thin heel. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear, and it fits perfectly on me. The leather is soft yet sturdy, so you wouldn't feel it is hard to break in the shoes. I think this shoe has a narrow fit, so if you have wide feet, you might consider ordering your normal size.

I had doubts about which size to buy in this shoe, from all the reviews - OF COURSE! BUT, I went with my instinct and bought my size, an 8.5. To say the least, they fit PERFECT, don't come off my heel and don't scrunch my toes. Glad I went with "true to size". :)

Seriously Sexy!
Upon first try, I thought this shoe was ill-sized but, as with all leather shoes, wearing breaks them in and they fit like a glove! Excellent shoe construction, very stable (if you can handle high heels) and superior materials. Toe box is almond-shaped and somewhat smaller than other shoes. If you're anxious about "toe cleavage" or if you require more toe room, perhaps order a half-size up.

OMG What a shoe...bought it on Nude first and loved it soooo much than went back for Red...by the time I went back again for Black...well SOLD OUT in my size (7)...of course...I am not surprised, this shoes are amazing...they rival my Black Christian Louboutin without a problem...YES!!!ladies...that amazing...Love them!!!!

Very chic but not comfortable -
I absolutely fell in love with this pair of shoes when I saw them on Zappos. They do indeed resemble Christian Louboutin nude pumps.
I followed other reviewers and bought them a half size smaller. They fit well except my toes are crunched... I don't think that I should have bought 7.5 though because that would mean shoes would have slipped right off...I love how sexy they look but they are definitely not for walking around too long...

Wrinkled leather -
These were gorgeous shoes in person, the biscuit color. However the leather was so incredibly thin it completely wrinkled and shriveled around the toe box. Maybe this pair was a lemon? So very disappointing! The size was good, comfort good, but completely unwearable.

Decent shoe for the money.
These are a great office/every day shoe. They are pretty comfortable despite the height although they do stretch out a little, as do most patent leather shoes.

What a sexy shoe. However I found just the opposite as the other reviewers. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and I had to get a 9. They are a little big in the heel, but I just put a heel insert in the back and they are perfect. It's better than having your toes all crunched up.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for...so very Vicki Beckham! I did order a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and it was a perfect fit. The heel is VERY high-and I wear heels a LOT. Thankfully the shoe is well-cushioned. VERY pleased!

Great platform pump!
Had to return this for a 1/2 size smaller, but it's a great platform pump with a chic almond-toe. Haven't worn them out yet, but I think they'll be pretty comfortable.

These shoes are sooooo sexy and really comfy to walk in even with the super high heel. My only problem is they are very tight in the toes, I considered going up half a size but after reading other reviews I'm afraid they will fall off my heels. Oh well, smooshed toes are a small price to pay for shoes that make me look so good!
