These shoes are very cute and can easily be worn with jeans, slacks, or a skirt and looks great with all. (I bought the brown ones). They don't offer a lot of arch support, but they are comfortable to wear. They are also true to size.

I have wide feet that don't like heels or any type of shoes at all. So when I bought these, I was taking a chance - and what luck! These shoes are totally cute and they are comfortable. I'm not used to wearing shoes without socks, but with these, I could make an exception. They are totally worth it. You won't regret the purchase. I didn't. You could ask Zappos...if I regret it, it goes right back...and these are still in my arsenal.

These are great shoes. I needed new work shoes for the summer that would give me some support because I'm on my feet the entire time. These have been really comfortable and look pretty good too.

I purchased this shoe looking for a nice comfortable black work shoe that had a little style. I'm usually a 9.5 so I purchased that one first, the toe box is very hard and does not flex, resulting in the 9.5 being too tight at the toes and painful. I switched to the 10 which got away from this issue, but then the shoes were too loose! I tried inserts but they only somewhat solve the problem. If not for the issue with the fit with the toes I'd give the shoe a 5, but considering a 9.5 is too tight and a 10 too loose, I have to downgrade the shoe to a 3.
P.S. The black is very shiny.

I've wanted so badly to wear the cute stylish flats my girlfriends wear, but super flat soles were terrible for my back pain. Then I found the Hush Puppy Sonnet. It has ample heel, soft flexible sole and comfy footbed. Finally a cute "flat" style I can wear. Perfect with jeans, dress pants, capris and casual dresses. I ordered them in pewter and light brown/saddle and I find they match almost any outfit I wear. Love these shoes! I'm usually an 8.5, ordered 8M in these and they fit perfect.

Got these in silver and LOVE them. Very comfortable and stylish and they match so many of my outfits that have hints of silver or gray in them. I have a muscle disease and often have great difficulty walking. I am unable to stand for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time and really struggle with finding shoes that work for me. Hush Puppies do the trick. Now they are all that I wear!

I recently hurt my back so I needed something that I could wear to work that would look nice and feel good. These shoes are great for that. The footbed comes out easily so I can put my orthotics in and have the support I need and still look professional.

The Hush Puppies Sonnet was HUGE. I ordered a 12M and it was 1/2 size too big all around. And oddly, the front part of the right shoe was visibly larger than the left shoe. And the other reviewer is correct, the black is strangely shiny, even for patent leather.

I'm hoping these will break in a bit, and flex more with my foot. Other than that, they are nice shoes -- well made, and very cute.

I first ordered this shoe in the 9.5. Unfortunately, that size was a little too small (Although my typical). The toe box ended up pressing a little too much although the rest of the shoe was OK. The 10 is a little large for me and the heel slips, you may end up being in between sizes. I have ended up switching to a larger sock to solve this. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable with decent support. The black is very shiny FYI.

More comfortable than most shoes -
New shoes are almost never comfortable for me but this shoe was more comfortable than most shoes are for me right away. Not perfect, and will take a little breaking in, but no blisters or sensitive spots on my feet the first day.

These shoes are very comfortable, even for walking around all day, and the width is great for me. Even though I got compliments on how "nice" they look, I thought they were a bit too bulky looking. Nevertheless, they are so comfortable I will order another pair!

I was looking for a comfortable brown shoe to wear with nice pants or a skirt since I can't wear heels anymore :(. I have loved Hush Puppies before, and these are just as great. I got nice compliments on the look and style. They were very comfortable from the first instant I put them on. A great shoe.

OUCH!! Sent these back in a hurry -
I was looking for a "dress" flat that was more comfortable like a sneaker. This isn't it. The toe box is rigid and would probably take several wears to break down most of the toe box. The inner area of the toe box, where you big toe rests, however is not forgiving. Even in the wide or half size larger, this shoe rubbed my big toe. The toe box is very rigid in that area and extremely uncomfortable. I didn't even make a full lap in the home with these.

Maybe just my feet but these shoes kill the bottoms of my feet... not the arch support... it’s like walking on rocks. I tried gel inserts which helped but still... owie.

Very comfortable and looks good with pants or skirts. I have very wide feet with a high instep and often have trouble finding a shoe that feels good. I normally wear an 8.5 as wide as I can get. The sonnet 8.5 W fit perfectly and was comfortable from the first time I put it on.

Comfy but too wide.
I ordered a narrow but this shoe runs much wider than narrows usually fit. If they were not running so wide, I would have purchased a pair in the other two colors offered since they are very comfortable and cute.

These fit great and are perfect with anything and very wearable immediately. I'm a 10 medium and need plenty of room around the ball of the foot...these provide space and moderate support. Good buy.

First, I have to say that I love Zappos! Before Zappos - I hated shopping for shoes because so few stores carried any shoes in wide width sizes and if they did advertise wide width, they had very limited stock and a very poor selection of styles. I was so depressed because I thought I was doomed to have a life donning dreary, cheap-looking or man-ish shoes that never fit quite right - ouch! Then I found Zappos and my life was improved! About Hush Puppies SONNET, what a great little shoe! It's the first shoe that I've had in a LONG while that makes me SMILE when I look at my feet! I do wear a 10WW and this shoe has me covered well in the width. I did find, however, that I agree with other reviewers with the length. Surprisingly to me, I found that I needed to exchange my 10WW for a 9.5WW (which was painless, thanks to Zappos!) which does fit very well. I liked these cute shoes so well that I then ordered the black version, too, but alas, I found that the black version of the shoes in the same 9.5WW size were a bit smaller than my coffee bean colored pair! How does this happen? Also, I do realize that photography can be tricky, so I don't fault Zappos, but the black pair are really shiny and the photo on the web site does not reflect how truly shiny they really are so do note this before you order the black color. For a reasonable price, this is a very cute and comfy shoe. Enjoy!

I have ordered countless shoes from Zappos. Every single transaction is great, flawless. They carry so many brands and widths as well. I recently ordered from another footwear company and regretted it for several reasons - but I swear, never again. I will buy from Zappos only! Their free shipping policy is wonderful.
