These have been a disappointment for me. I have two pairs of the "first generation" Avalon shoes (when they just came in solid colors, before they got fancier with them). I have the red and black ones. The black pair's straps on one shoe have come unglued and have pulled out from between the foot cushion and the bottom of the shoe. Both the black and red pairs stitching at the rings have pulled apart, if that makes any sense. A friend of mine has these in brown and hers have also pulled apart at the stitching where the rings are. Such a pretty, but poorly made, shoe in my experience.

These are very cute and comfortable slide-on platforms. They are a bit high so if you are not used to wearing high heels they may not be for you. But Dr. Scholl's sandals have flexible heels or platforms and padded footbeds, so I've found the ones I purchased to be more comfortable than most brands. They are also light-weight and not heavy like Born or other brands. The design of this platform slide is versatile - you can dress them up or down. The overall look is chic and classy but still cute and fun.

I am quite picky with shoes, especially sandals, but from the moment I slipped my feet into these shoes, I knew we'd be together for a very long time. They feel heavenly and look gorgeous. The Brown Croc with gold accents looks very classy. Fabulous purchase.

I picked up a pair of these last night and wore them to work today. While they are pretty comfortable at first and look great, I have to say that by the end of the day, the balls of my feet were really sore… it feels like I’m on the verge of having blisters on the bottom of both feet. I guess that’s to be expected with heels this high, but from a company whose tagline is "feel crazy good", I expect not to have to choose between style and comfort.

Comfy Dress Sandals -
Such comfortable sandals! The footbed is nice and cushioned, almost like walking on pillows. The wedge provides plenty of support for the arch, and even though the heel is quite high (3 1/2"), it is really very comfortable to walk around in. The straps do not rub, and actually come up fairly high on the instep so there is none of that slapping noise. One word of caution: I normally wear a 10W, and I fit into a 10M just perfectly. So, women with average width feet might feel these sandals are a little on the loose side. However, if you normally wear wide shoes, don't be afraid to get a normal width! Great looking shoes that are comfortable to wear - what more could one ask for?

Comfy and Sexy!
I love heels and these are the most cushioned and comfy shoes I've worn in many years! I've received many compliments and they make my legs look great!

Love these shoes!
Truly there is no break in on these shoes. They were comfy from the first day. They were true to size and look good on - I am definitely going to be checking out Dr. Scholl's again!

Most Comfortable!
These are the most comfy sandals I've ever had. I was able to wear them for 9 hrs. without any breaking in. They are generous in width, have padded insides, and nothing rubs the foot. I own them in black and am going to buy them in brown, too.
