Poor quality, comfortable, but not worth the money. They looked great out of the box, but after one week the straps' canvas fabric began to fray and a chip of wood came off the upper edge of one heel. (I had read about this in another review, but thought it was an isolated incident, apparently not...sigh...live and learn). After 3 weeks the canvas straps' edges are completely frayed, giving them a fuzzy appearance. Another chip of wood came off the other shoe. I will not buy these again.

Not sure why these are so expensive -
These are just the standard Dr Scholl’s with some different wood and other construction materials. Like the other reviewers, mine have started to show some chips in the toe area. I'm a little worried about the corn outsole, but time will tell.

Cute and comfortable!
I love this shoe! It's very comfortable and cute too. The hemp wears a bit easily, but if you just put clear nail polish wear it starts to shred, you'll be fine. Other than that, I highly recommend these shoes!

Ready for the garbage in 2 months -- horrible quality -
Super comfy!! But terrible quality. For the price I expected to get at least a couple of years out of these. After a few weeks, the wood had big chips in it. After a couple of months, they look completely worn out and the buckle is broken. I’m sending them directly back to Dr. Scholl’s.

Sorry! No go!!
Not even close to the Original which Zappos, until now has faithfully carried. Cheesy workmanship, easily chipped hornbeam instead of good quality Faggio hardwood (beechwood); strap WAAAAY to narrow to be liberally adjustable! Just a chincy way of trying to continue a classic whose reputation rides all too much on the fine details that all Dr Scholl exercise sandal lovers recognize and expect. Hopefully, a way will present itself to allow Brown Shoe to make the Original exercise sandal the way it should be!!

Not built like the old Dr Scholl's I know -
These are extremely comfortable with an updated look to the classic Dr. Scholl's. However, I ordered them for a 6 day beach vacation and the wood is chipping near the toes. I'm shipping them directly back to Scholl's for a refund. Unfortunate that the quality is poor, because they are great sandals.

Really cute and I looovvve that they are eco friendly, but the leather has a really rough edge that cuts into your foot... or it did mine. The wood felt nice though. I really liked them, but they were a bit big and the rough edge, so I sent them back... may try them again in the hemp.
