These were great for about six months, then it seemed to me that the fit had grown loose. I looked at the sandals carefully and noticed that the straps have pulled away from the side of the foot bed, apparently the glue doesn't hold. A reviewer at REI's web site noticed the same problem. What a shame. Great flip-flops now slop-flops.

Buy these, they are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. Did not want to spend this much for these, but we live in great climate, all year long flip flops. I read reviews with particular attention to warm weather reviews like Hawaii, Texas, AZ, etc. Thank you to all for great advice, size up one size, better than Reefs, get what you pay for, etc.

The sandal looks great. I find them comfortable for short periods of time. The high arch on them bothers my foot after longer wear, even after a month of wearing them.

Love these sandals! I have 3 pairs and will probably be getting more. I believe they do run a size small. I wear 12 normal and had to go to 13 to get the best fit. You will love them.

Good, but not worth the money. I wanted something really nice as I wear flip flops a lot during the summer. These look good, feel good but after a few days the leather footbed became slippery. Maybe my feet are just very dry, but I slip and slide on these a lot. I had a pair of Reefs (with a bottle opener!) which I feel were better, certainly cheaper.

These sandals are a bit pricey, but when I tried them on at the store, I was really impressed. They felt and looked great. I've been wearing them for a couple weeks now and they have loosened up quite a bit (as they should), but if they fit perfect in the store, maybe you should go down a size. That's what I did.

The OluKai Maoli are awesome. Like the other reviewers, it took my feet a couple of days to get used to the straps, but this break-in period was short. The sandals are now terrifically comfortable and look great. Beautifully crafted. Based on one month in them I\'d say they are worth the money.

Beautiful appearance, kinda dressy, fit well, good arch support. I tend to have arch problems. I have 2 other Olukai flips, and they are equally good.

Although I were Birkenstock shoes and sandals, I have been looking for a comfortable flip-flop that also provides good arch support. The black leather Oluka-Maoli flip-flops exceeding my criteria. They are extremely comfortable and my wife said that they are very good looking on my feet.

I am 40 years old and never believed in flip flops. Two years ago I bought my first pair. They were the black OluKai Hiapos. I was blown away. I bought these Maolis becuase I wanted a brown pair. They are extremely comfortable with the support you\'d expect from any good shoe. I normally wear a 10. I bought these in 11 again and they fit perfectly. They are worth the money. I purchased these at 11 at night on a Thursday. Amazingly they arrived at my house at 3 o\'clock the next afternoon. Props to both OluKai and Zappos.

I've had these flip flops for a few months and overall I'm very satisfied. They look great, feel great, and provide good arch support (which is usually non-existent in a flip flop). It is my opinion that they run two sizes too small. I usually wear an eleven and it was way too small. I eventually got a size thirteen after two free returns from Zappos. Thanks, Zappos rocks!

Just received these slippers today and again, I have to say that Zappos.com always does an awesome job with shipping, even if you choose the free standard shipping. These are not your ordinary sandals. A lot of work has been put into making these. From the comfortable footbed to the strap to the attention to detail. These "flip-flops" are truly the best I've ever owned. I usually wear a size 10 or 10.5 and ordered a size 11, pretty much a perfect fit. Mahalos again to Zappos for having these in stock and mahalo to OluKai for making them.

Great flippy floppies! The leather upper took me a couple of days to break in, but afterwards a great sandal. The footbed feels smooth and they look great. No problems with size as I was anticipating and I wear a 15. Looking forward to getting another pair already. Yes, they are pricey but you can take care of leather and make it last.

I own a lot of sandals, and have found these to be one of my favorites. While they are not marketed as orthopedic sandals, they have a nice shape and have molded well to my foot, even better than my SOLE sandals which claim both. Until Superfeet comes out with a sandal, these are my go to flips!

Was slightly hesitant in buying these flops. I read the great reviews, but still was hesitant. After spending a day or so wondering which sandal to buy, I went with these. The one review that convinced me was the person who said they wore them at a wedding. I am brown-skinned and was nervous about the color of these (I went with Java) but it's a great color. I ordered a size 10 though I am a 9. This was a good decision. I love these sandals. From the moment you take them out of the box you know you're holding a quality sandal in your hand. They are comfortable and stylish. I've gotten many compliments about them, even in flip-flop saturated towns like Santa Cruz. The top strap does need some breaking in against your skin. They are not the lightest flip-flops but I think that just adds to the quality of the sandal. You won't regret owning these sandals. No doubt the best sandals I've owned.

This is my second pair of OluKai flip flops and I just love them. My first pair of OluKai were the Hiapo and I couldn't believe how good they felt on my feet so I got a second pair within a week. The Maoli is superior in comfort to any other flip flop I have worn (barely beats out the Hiapo). The only down side is the cost but if these last me as long as my previous flip flops it will be money very well spent. I'm going to HAVE to get another pair!

Awesome looking, but top strap a little uncomfortable -
Flip flops should be extremely comfortable. The soles are perfect, but the top strap rubbed the top of my foot raw the first long walk I took with them. These may just need to be broken in though.

Best flops on the market, hands down!!! I've been wearing flops my whole life. I always wore Reefs up until about 5 yrs ago. Then I switched to Sanuks. When I found out my favorite pair of Sanuks were eaten by my dog, and I couldn't purchase another pair because they were discontinued, I figured I'd try a pair of OluKais. They are hands down the most comfortable flops on the market period. A little pricey, but if you wear them like I do, they're totally worth the money. Enjoy!!!

These shoes are beautiful and they compliment one of my L.A.M.B. purses. They fit comfortably and do not scream blister! I have wide feet, but the shape of the toe accommodates this unfortunate feature of my feet. I have been waiting to buy a pair of her shoes and these are well worth the money!

Wow - These are the most buttery, most luxurious, and most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Flip flops are my everyday wear and these stood the test of walking 2 miles each day. And since it is leather, it gets better with age! Definitely became a lifelong Olukai fan after these babies!

Outstanding!!
The OluKai leather sandals are the most comfortable shoes I own, so I bought 3 pair. 2 different color Hiapo and the Maoli in black. I don’t wear anything else when I get home from work. At work I find myself wishing I were wearing my OluKai sandals. I tell people about them and even bought a pair for my wife now she doesn't take HERS off!! Thank you OluKai for making a great shoe and thank you Zappos for carrying them!!
