Nice Shoe -
My shoe size is a 7 and I first purchased this shoe in a size 7 in navy. It was tight on my foot but I figured after wearing it a couple of times that it would stretch out. I've now worn them about ten time and they still hurt my feet. I ordered this same shoe in brown but ordered a 7 1/2. The shoe in this size is still uncomfortable. I have ordered eight pairs of Fitzwell shoes and have found that every single pair runs smaller than marked. I would suggest to anyone wanting to purchase this shoe to buy it at least 1/2 size bigger but one full size bigger would probably be best.

Beautiful...
These shoes are beautiful. I bought one of the patent combos and have received complements each time I've worn them. They are a bit narrow in my opinion...so, when I order the other color, I'm going to try a wide just to compare. If you are the traditional women (willing to sacrifice "sensible & totally comfortable") then you will be extremely pleased!

The service offered by Zappos is excellent. My shoes arrived in two days. The communication as to the shipping and even the courier tracking information is way above the rest. Sorry I had to return the shoes they are definitely too small. They were not true to the sizing at all.

2 right feet?
It's rare that I write a review but I had to warn others about this shoe. I have a normal size 7 foot. I own close to 100 pairs of heels and flats, including 2 pairs of Fitzwell boots that fit fine. There is something off with these shoes. The left shoe feels exactly like I am wearing my right shoe on the wrong foot. It LOOKS like a left shoe, the shape, the sole etc. but I can't walk in them and every time I put them on it feels like I've got my shoes on the wrong feet. They're not too tight and not particularly narrow. They're just wonky.

These shoes are gorgeous and very comfortable. Excellent heel and true to size. Great and modern color. Looking now to buy another pair in another color. Excellent to wear all day walking at work, over ten hours. GREAT!

Nice look, but less comfort than Sofft Fiorentino -
I purchased these in the grey/black patent fade. I thought they looked lovely, but they arrived with the Sofft Fiorentino, and there is no comparison in comfort. The Fiorentino patents are lovely, and the internal cushioning feels much better placed in the Sofft shoe. Externally, the almond shaped toe of the Fitzwell is a bit more streamlined, and there's no Mary Jane strap to interrupt the leg line. Still, the Sofft shoe has a nice rounded toe (updated 1940's feel), excellent workmanship, and soft footfall because of the rubber outsole. The Sofft is worth every penny of the $30+ price difference.

These shoes are almost true to fit, though if you have narrow ankles, be prepared for some extra room. I don't normally wear heels, but found these very comfortable, even after a grueling 8-hour day.

I love these shoes. They look very nice on my feet and have a very classy look. I have worn them starting at 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening and they were still comfortable.

It is very common in this internet shopping world to be disappointed with an order, but Zappos has not only delivered what they promised, they "delighted the customer." I placed my order at about 2:30 in the afternoon (11:30 pacific time) with no special shipping requests and they were here at 10:00am the following morning. I did not pay any extra for shipping, actually shipping was free, and the product that arrived was exactly what I ordered. They fit perfectly and Zappos has a customer for life.
