Born's Charisma -
I love the looks of this shoe! I have the dark brown ones. The only negative is that my foot slides forward, especially when walking any distance. Really makes my toes hurt. I'm going to try an insert. They look great with jeans, casual dresses, and skirts. This is my seventh pair of Borns and I'm hooked! Absolutely the most comfortable heels I've found. Hope the insert takes care of this pair.

Good Sturdy Shoe - Half Sizes Needed!
Initially this shoe was extremely comfortable and stylish looking. That is until I left the house and found that my feet slid forward in the short toe box and I wound up with sore toes and an aching ball of the foot because of the sliding. Because they don't come in half sizes I ordered a size up, but I would NOT recommend doing so. If I ordered from Born again I would order a half size smaller - Leather stretches, and that half size began to feel more like a full size larger. I would have returned for an exchange but I had already worn them outside, darn! I had some gel shoe liners that I inserted into the bed of the shoe and this has helped with the slippage and enabled me to wear the shoes. Only because of the shoe liner am I able to wear them. Other than that, the quality of the leather and workmanship are top-notch. Beware of sizing. Wear indoors for a couple hours and walk around a lot to see if they work for you. Zappos was great and even upgraded my shipping to next day air. I received my order in only two days!

Great Looking Shoe -
This shoe is by far the cutest I could find when looking for heels that weren't too high, too dressy, or too casual. This shoe fit the bill; I have only worn them once and was on my feet for four hours (without any break in period). They were uncomfortable at the end of that time which is probably only because I am not used to the height. I wore them with a skirt, but intend to wear them with dresses and pants as well. I feel they are that versatile and was complimented on the look.

Fabulous all around!
LOVE love these shoes! Perfect for a fall wardrobe. You get great height without compromising comfort. These shoes are actually a lot more comfy than my non-heeled shoes! Looks cute with skinny pants and jeans.

Lots of compliments on this shoe!
I'm a big fan of Born shoes because they are very well made and carry very unique styles. I am extremely difficult to fit because I suffered a stress fracture and my second toe looks deformed LOL. These shoes are very true to size. The shoe is very comfortable most of the day if I don't do a lot of standing, but even then, it's not that uncomfortable. The only problem I have is that my foot seems to slide forward and my toes start to feel like their shoved into the front of the shoe. It's not bad enough though that I would send them back.

My Favorite Pair of Black Shoes -
I love this shoe!! I needed something with closed heel and toe for work. This is one of the most comfortable shoes I own. I am on my feet a minimum of five straight hours a night and my feet feel great at the end of the night. They have great arch support and the cushioned insole is like wearing a slipper. They are great with jeans, dress slacks or a denim skirt. The only thing better would be a pair in RED leather!

This shoe is super cute and so comfy! I wore them to a baseball game where I had to do a lot of walking up and down stairs and I never had any discomfort. Definitely recommend!

I got 'em in brown, and love them. Comfy. They're right in between casual heels & fancy heels, which is usually what I'm looking for. My foot slipped in them at first, but I got an insert and that solved it instantly.

Leather is supple but too stretchy! These shoes are lovely, and I'd imagine very comfortable if the size is just right. I am a firm 7.5, so got the 8. They felt roomy, but then after a few hours of wear they were downright floppy. They definitely run big, but we'll have to see if the 7 works. Why no half sizes, cruel world?

Am wearing them now and want another pair in black! These are so comfortable--really amazingly so for the height. I see a lot of wear in my future. Borns do tend to run big, but the 9 fits my 8.5 feet really well. Highly recommended.

As usual, great shoes!
As always, Zappos delivers...and it's quick!! These shoes are very cute and are extremely comfortable. I love the height since I'm a quarter inch less than five feet! The slight platform and cushy inside make these easy on the feet and the styling -- easy on the eyes. I never thought I could wear higher heel shoes but I'm hooked on Borns and these won't disappoint!! I haven't worn them for a long period of time yet but I think these will be a long-time fave. Highly recommend!!

I can wear these heels all day without discomfort. I've worn them to weddings, dancing, and all day walking. The heel is quite high, but the shoes are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great shoe - I love the look of this shoe. It is a nice style that can be dressed up or down. This shoe is super comfy for the height of the heel. The footbed is cushiony and you can walk in this shoe for somewhat long distances without any trouble. BUT, I must say that the toe box is very short (lengthwise, not widthwise). I am an 11 and my toes were up against the end of the shoe. I have long toes, but I suspect most people would have an issue with it. I don’t know if going up a size would work because I did not try it myself (11 being the largest size available to me). I had the shoes stretched, but it didn’t do much. I can say that I'm able to still wear them, even walk in them for a long time, but my toes are still jammed in there. Meaning I can wear them, but they aren’t comfortable enough for every day because of the toe box issue.

Finally a higher heeled shoe that won't kill my feet! This is the only platform-type shoe that I can wear for an entire workday (I'm on my feet for more than 4 hours at a time), and walk hilly city streets without so much as a blister or muscle pain in my legs and back. Born shoes are miraculous for their comfort factor. I love this particular style because it's actually flattering – it doesn't make the feet look gigantic or like I'm wearing Frankenstein boots.

I love these shoes; they're really cute and feminine, but so comfortable! The heel looks high, but is offset by the platform. I'm going to order another pair, because I find myself grabbing these almost every day. I have bunions and long toes, with slim heels, so I'm hard to fit (size 9), but these shoes do not rub anywhere. I ordered at 3 p.m. and received these the next morning! I've tried other shoe dot com places and they don't compare with the good service and selection at Zappos!

I don't want to take them off -
This shoe looks good with pants or dresses and I have worn it for long periods of time standing without discomfort, which is GREAT for a heeled shoe. Only negative - I sometimes feel that I might walk out of it, however, because the "t" strap is relatively loose, but I can slide it on without undoing the buckle, so it is a good trade off. It has a nice feel and a good shape - lots of personality.

My favorite shoes!!! I absolutely love these shoes! I have foot problems and I was unable to wear heels for any extended amount of time until I discovered Born! The first time I put on these shoes I wore them for 8 hours! I would recommend them to anyone! I love them so much I have them in black and brown.

Stretches too much -
The look is amazing but after one days wear they stretched to the point that I now need to wear socks with them. This unfortunately defeats the purpose of buying these shoes to begin with. But knowing this now will help me better select my next pair of Born shoes.

Cute but definitely a high heel -
This is a very well designed shoe. It is overall more casual but the black can work as a dressier shoe. Lots of padding, comfortable toe box and good heel support. Buckle is a bit difficult to get the hang of but would probably be easier with practice. This is a high heel - too high for me, even with the small platform under the toe - but if you are comfortable in a 3+ inch heel this is a great shoe.

The Perfect Shoe!
I can wear all day and these NEVER hurt my feet. Perfect cush and no rubbing anywhere on my foot. I bought these in a 9 which is what I usually wear in open toe shoes and they fit like a comfy glove! I now have these in all three colors.

Buying cute shoes is good for the economy!
I had all but given up on wearing any shoes with heels because I thought they were too uncomfortable. Then I discovered Born shoes and my feet are happy and pretty again. I wear these with dress pants and skirts for work, but they would look great with jeans as well. And did I mention they are COMFY?

Comfort and fun -
I have this shoe in Nicola (tan), and I love it for casual outfits. I bought my normal shoe size (10 M), but should let you know that my feet are very slightly wide at the forefoot, and narrow in the heel. This shoe is comfortable on me, so it may be a bit wide on others. It's very well made, and the platform offsets the heel, making walking very comfortable. The buckle/strap provides a nice cradle of support. I definitely recommend this shoe!

Shoes are very cute - the strap is a little high, and the brown is a little on the orange side for me but otherwise I like. I should have ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear but they are still comfortable!!

Love this shoe!!!
I bought this shoe for work but it looks so cute in jeans that I don't know if I want to use it for work. The heel is high but very stable. The platform feels like a big cushion. The whole footbed is well cushioned and the shoe fits like a dream. Was concerned that it wouldn't be wide enough as this shoe comes in only medium with. It fits like a glove on my wide foot. It is even able to accommodate my orthotics. Love it!!

It is very common in this internet shopping world to be disappointed with an order, but Zappos has not only delivered what they promised, they "delighted the customer." I placed my order at about 2:30 in the afternoon (11:30 pacific time) with no special shipping requests and they were here at 10:00am the following morning. I did not pay any extra for shipping, actually shipping was free, and the product that arrived was exactly what I ordered. They fit perfectly and Zappos has a customer for life.
