Adjustable buckles are not at all adjustable- they just appear that way. The front straps are so narrow I couldn't fit one of my (wide) feet all the way down into the shoe. Once on, there's just no way an average mom/career woman can wear these & stand or walk for more than 5 minutes. The heel is just way too high. Also, the shoe is constructed in 9 West typical quality- junk. This brand is what I bought 15 yrs ago, when they launched an aggressive ad campaign. The leather upper is lined in synthetic material, with just the thinnest of what is presumably 'real' leather laminated to the exterior. Every surface that comes into contact w/ your feet is/are synthetic materials. I really like this Gladiator style heel, & will continue to look for something w/ a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 inch wearable heel, quality Italian made, in real leather.

Ouch!
This is a gorgeous shoe, but first of all the heel is 4 1/2 inches high - not 3/1/2. BIG difference. If I were able to balance long enough to not break an ankle, the balls of my feet would die from the pain. Also, middle strap was too loose. I did not take exception to the quality- I thought it looked like a very expensive shoe. If you can do stilettos- go for it!

Wow...
These shoes are absolutely gorgeous. They make your legs look never-ending, and the buckles are so very attractive. I got lots of compliments wearing these. They'd be great with skirts but I wore them with skinny pants so you could see the details. Oh, and did I mention they're COMFORTABLE too?

Cute, but -
This sandal is cute, but I had a few problems with it. The heel was about an inch too tall to be comfortable for a full day of wearing. It would be a fine going-out sandal, but not an everyday sandal. The buckle at the ankle came up a bit too high and hit uncomfortably at my ankle bone. I have wide feet and the width was good especially with the adjustable straps. I ordered the taupe leather and although I thought the shade was flattering, the finish work was really sloppy. The edges were dark and there were globs of glue in places. The leather was also not trimmed neatly. Also the color was not even, being lighter in places than others. Due to the height of the heel and the sloppy finishing, I'm returning it.

FAB Gladiator Heels!
The moment I tried these shoes on I was SHOCKED by how comfortable they were. They didn't require any breaking in and feel as comfortable as your favorite flats -- only with a heel, of course. ;o) I purchased them in the taupe color, which will be fantastic with all my summer dresses. I ADORE these shoes -- I think you will, too! ;o)

If you're looking for that "Edie Sedgwick" look, these shoes are great. Or if you're looking for the Audrey Kitching look, then these are perfect. As shown in a lot of her photos, she wears these shoes. THEY ARE GREAT AND COMFORTBALE.

So many gladiators this year, which one to pick? I got this one in black because I love the chunky buckles. This shoe really stands out from a bevy of similar styles without breaking the bank. I also love the comfort.

These sandals are very comfortable. True to size. Easy to walk in, and they look great.
Zappos is the best company to buy from! Very nice friendly customer service. Great selection of shoes and handbags. If only every company was as great as Zappos.

Gladiator with stacked heel more comfortable than wedge -
I hope this is helpful as I live in OH so I may not get to wear these until late May. The Gladiator style is in now and I can't go too far into this fashion because I also wear them to work and anything that laces up the ankle is a definite no-no. However, I ordered two pairs of the Gaulla one blue and one grey. The grey is fantastic and it goes with the grey of the season which is lighter and not charcoal. The blue has a bit of a green/turquoise appeal but still nice. I wore the shoes in my home for about an hour on carpeted and non carpeted areas and I have to say they were VERY comfortable. At 4 inches high I thought it might be a problem but I got great support and did not feel that my weight was being pushed down to the balls of my feet. I tried on the Heech at the store and it was very uncomfortable. Also 4 inches so I am not sure what the difference was unless the wedge (which I would think would provide more support) made a difference. I would definitely recommend them and if you can get more than one color!

Great Looking Shoe -
Very nice shoe, it fits true to size. I ordered the grey, very nice color. As for comfort, not made for walking and not made for long periods of standing. I think they will look great with jeans. OVERALL, nice shoe.

Super cute!!
I got these in yesterday in the light taupe color, they are so cute I can not wait to wear them out. They're very comfortable as I am very particular about the shoes I wear due to bunions (small ones) these are very flattering to challenging looking feet. They due fit true to size I bought an 8m and they're fine, they also have a pretty soft insole. Thanx Zappos.

The Fabulous Gaulla -
I bought these to go with all of shades of gray outfits; from walking shorts to dresses these are fantastic. They are comfortable out of the box and the stacked heel is wonderful. I broke my ankle 4 years ago and find it hard to wear skinny heels, these I have no problem with. Would recommend them for anyone wanting comfort and style. Had them on for 8 hours at a recent party and they held up to the test.
Love Zappos and love Nine West.

Whenever I need to tell an etailer how I compare their web site, I always use Zappos as my reference web site as The Standard. And, I use Zappos as the standard that all etailers should strive to be at the same level. None are even close, and I sincerely mean that. I haven't purchased a pair of shoes from anyplace other than Zappos.
