Finally - a large shoe!
I ordered these sneakers for my boyfriend. We took a day to hit the local shops for him to try on sneakers (it was not a fun day) with no luck. The athletic shoe store told me they don't make half-size shoes in the larger sizes and don't go past a size 12. Now, even I know that can't be true! Having had good luck for myself on Zappos, I started a search. He needs a 12-1/2W in order to accommodate his orthotics, and he needs a good shoe due to being diabetic. I ordered these for him, we got them 2 days later, and they fit great (no problem with short velcro straps). I knew that, if they didn't fit, it wouldn't be an issue because of Zappos great service, but we got it right the first time! Thank you so much, Zappos!

From the moment the shoes were put on, they've been very comfortable. Velcro closures add both to comfort and ease of putting on.

They squeak -
I had bought many of these shoes in the past and threw the box away when received or I certainly would have returned them. What a mistake that was!! They squeak with every step. Must be made elsewhere now. In the future I will be more careful.

These shoes are pretty much "what you see is what you get"-
They ain't too good looking, but they get the job done! I got these for my adult developmentally challenged son, because he has trouble keeping his shoes tied, and this makes his walking (which is miles everyday since he can't drive) much safer. I like 'em.

My favorite shoes - I keep searching for an exact replacement whenever these wear out, which is why I'm on this web site. I usually have a clean pair for outdoors and a yard work pair. I get fatigued more quickly wearing boots so I use these for a lot of heavy work they're really not designed for. I get them wet all the time but they hold up pretty well. Most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I don't have a problem with the strap length that others mention but maybe it is because I keep getting the 4E size, which is probably a little wider than I really need. On regular dress shoes EEE is usually good enough for me, even still a little loose. Anyway, if these fit you well I think you'll like them a lot. I've gone through either 3 or 4 pairs in the last few years (can't remember exactly). I like them that much.

Solid comfort and convenience - Bought this shoe for my husband who is disabled and has a hard time walking. He also needs the velcro closure due to coordination problems. New balance is the shoe recommended by physical therapists because of the support. I recommend these for people who need solid support, comfort, and ease.

Great quick and Comfortable -
A very quick and comfortable shoe to slip on and take the dogs for a walk or run down to the store. This is my third pair and they take a beating and give excellent life even though I am hard on them.

Comfort shoes - These shoes are a good buy and I've never had faster delivery anywhere! My husband is in a nursing home and he needs this style + the wider width. So I am very pleased in finding a good pair he can use so comfortably and yet they look good too. The wider toe space is welcome also. Hello Zappos, this was my 1st order and thanks for great service with great products as well! Oh, re: that strap people mentioned – it may be a little shorter than expected, but it reaches alright and my husband also has a high instep to cover.

Big foot comfort -
I got these for my husband who has a very difficult time finding shoes in his size that are comfortable. These fit well and were comfortable from the box. Also, the hook and loop make for easy and fast on/off. Thanks Zappos! Don't know what I'd do without you.

My 93-year-old dad has worn this shoe for years. The one problem we have to put a grommet hole at the end of each strap so he can put his grabber point in it to fasten the strap. Would you consider this for a line of shoes? Thanks.

Pretty good overall - I bought these velcro strap sneakers for my father. He said they are true to size, and quite comfortable. I did read the reviews regarding the straps being too short and ordered them anyway. Well, it is true, and they look sort of odd with the strap only covering half of the exposed velcro. It makes it look like his foot is super wide for a shoe, when it really fits fine. Not in love with that aspect because for that kind of money they should give you the extra inch!!!

Shoes fit well, they look good and are comfortable - as other reviewers have said. The straps are too short - people do have arches and the manufacturer has not taken that into account. They MUST make the straps longer!

My husband has a hard time finding shoes that fit properly, are wide enough in the toe area, and provide support. These shoes felt wonderful on his feet as soon as he put them on. No break in time. He wears them all the time on weekends and says it is easier to walk in them for their support as he has bad knees and hammertoe.

Great shoe for work.
I wear these shoes for work, and they are great. I fix computers at homes and small businesses so I do a lot of walking and often need to take my shoes off when I enter homes. The hook and loops make for quick and easy on and off.

In his new class, everyone wears slippers. The school requires that the slippers be plain and without "characters." I was having a heck of a time trying to find nice slippers in the middle of August in Montgomery, Alabama. The quicker the slippers get here, the easier the transition will be for my toddler.
