I recently started a serious exercise regimen walking on a treadmill. I was walking about a mile a day, and it was really hard on my feet. (I also have Type II Diabetes, and experience some numbness on the bottoms of my feet.) I would get about half way through my mile and the bottoms of my feet would start to really hurt. I mentioned this to my sister-in-law, who suggested that I needed to get a really good pair of walking shoes. I looked at a lot of different shoes and labels. I wanted a really light shoe with really good cushioning. I looked at New Balance, Asics, Reebok, Adidas, and probably a few more that I can't remember, and then I looked at Nike. Out of all of the shoes that I looked at, the Nike Air Miler Walk+ had all of the features that I was looking for, and the price wasn't too bad either. But when I actually got the shoes and tried them on, I completely fell in love. They are comfortable, lightweight, airy (I love the mesh inserts around my toes!) and oh so good to my feet. I'm now walking a mile and a half every day and my feet love every step! I'm working on catching up to my sister-in-law, who walks 3 1/2 miles every day! I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who walks or runs, or just wants something comfortable for every day. What a great shoe!

I love these shoes! Very comfortable and cool with the mesh. I do a lot of walking and I was pleased to not get a blister working them in. They fit perfect from when I took them out of the box! The only negative I have, is that if I walk on the sand, the sand goes through the mesh into the shoe. But I still love them!

These shoes make you feel like you're walking on clouds. I am an overweight, 51 year old woman who never exercised. With these lightweight walkers, I have walked for 30 minutes per day since I received them. I love the shoes. I don't have an Ipod so I haven't used the extra feature. The shoes are worth every penny. I got a half size up from my regular size.

They are so Comfortable, and I have Flat Feet, very, very Comfy. I get lots of great compliments even from Guys at work, lol. Thanks Zappos for making the Delivery so fast. My Nike Air Miler Walk+ shoes were all I hoped they would be. They were true to size and so comfortable. Service from Zappos was wonderful. Free shipping and free returns did it for me. Shoes can be tricky with comfort and size. Didn't want to be paying to send shoes back and forth, but no problem with these. I will use Zappos again.

Very cute, light and cool, with enough support and cushion for the casual fitness walker. I normally wear a size 8, and have had to wear 8.5 in Nikes in the past. Maybe they are adjusting their sizing, but the 8 felt better in this model to me. Could be due to the stretchy feel of the mesh. There is one small patch of trim that rubbed my smallest toes, but it seems to be stretching out to the point that it doesn't hurt anymore.

I love these shoes. If you've never bought Nike before I recommend you go up a 1/2 a size. These shoes are comfortable and stylish, and that's what I'm about. I have to look "cute" at all times, even when I'm working out. I actually bought two pair; I would have bought a third pair, but i had to catch myself. Also, the ordering and delivery service was outstanding. I have never ordered shoes online one day and received them on the next day. Unbelievable; I was very impressed. Thanks a lot Zappos, and keep up the good work!

I bought these for walking. They are so light, you don't even feel like you are wearing shoes. The fit was great. It was true to size. I will be back for another pair; hopefully they have them in other color combos.

These sneakers are comfortable and are very lite on your feet. You actually feel like you don't even have any sneakers on. I highly recommend in buying a pair of Nike Air Miler Walk+.The service from Zappos was wonderful. I have ordered other products from here and have not been disappointed.

These shoes are the coolest in two ways. First of all, they are not gaudy or too new wave, and also the mesh material keeps my toes cool even in the Florida heat. I recommend them to people like me who aren’t pros just daily light exercisers.

This shoe has comfort, support, and breath-ability! Refreshingly light walking shoe. Wide enough, too. Doesn’t hurt that it looks good! I have found my perfect shoe. Runs big, but I have a wide foot, so it works.

These are the most comfortable sneakers that I've owned yet! My regular size is 10, but I got them in 10.5 (I've noticed that with sneakers I usually have to go with 10.5 or 11 if they don't have 10.5), and these fit me perfectly. Very lightweight and attractive too.

Great Walking Shoe!
The Nike Air Walk is light in weight. I didn't have to break them in. They are very comfortable and fit perfect the first time I put them on. I am planning in the near future to order another pair.

This is my second pair. I am very happy with this shoe for both comfort and appearance. I like my walking shoes to look somewhat "simple" - not too much weird stuff going on with its design. I usually wear a size 7. There is plenty of room in this shoe, so order a half size down.

I really like this shoe, I use it for walking on my treadmill. It is very lightweight, however the arch was not supportive enough for my foot but I put an arch support in the shoe and it works great. Highly recommend this shoe!

Good, comfy shoe -
I am very happy with my Air Milers. They were extremely comfort from the moment I put them on, no break-in period needed! Zappos shipping was very fast. These shoes are definitely not for even remotely cold weather, though, as they are mostly mesh in material. I had read many reviews that said to get a 1/2 size larger and I am glad that I did NOT do that or they would have been too big. I got a size 5 and there is plenty of toe room, a half size bigger and I would be sliding around in them.

The Nike Air Miler Walk is very comfortable and gives your feet plenty of air. So this is a great plus for people that have feet that sweat a lot.

Good walking shoe -
I actually purchased 2 pairs of these- 1 pair for me and 1 pair for my mother. I like the looks of the shoe; they are similar to a running shoe, but not quite as bulky. They are pretty comfortable and very light. My mother absolutely loves them and has said they are the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a light weight walking shoe that is not all leather.

My Feet Hurt After these shoes -
I bought these shoes in order to use the Nike + system with my Ipod. I've been a loyal Reebok walking shoe customer for many years but I thought I'd give these a try. I first tried them on my treadmill and I got blisters. I figured, new shoes, it happens. When I walk outside, I walk 11 miles each on Saturdays and Sundays. I've never had an issue with my Reeboks. After two days of walking in these shoes (with my orthotics), the balls of my feet hurt so bad I could hardly walk. There is definitely not enough cushion in the forefoot. I went online and ordered one of those pouches that you put the sensor in and you tie to your laces and I'll be using it with my Reeboks. On the plus side, they look really great. I'll probably still wear them as fashion tennis shoes.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned and they fit like a glove. It's no easy task finding a well-fitting, comfortable shoe in a size 11.5!!!! Zappos rocks!

I ordered a half size larger than normal to accommodate my socks. These shoes are exceptionally comfortable and I never have any discomfort when I wear them. I do a lot of walking and use the treadmill and elliptical trainer and they are very comfortable no matter what I do. I also love the open and airy shoe covering.

Greatest summer shoes ever!!
I am a 63 year old nurse who has circulation issues and these shoes were so comfortable and supportive from the get go. The minute I put them on they were comfy just like others I've had to break in for months. They look great and kept my feet happy all summer.
