Too early to tell -
I think these are a great pair of boots, bottom line. Downsides include the tying up to the top. It's not really easy to do with the teeth on the boot. Upsides: They are light and comfortable. I do love them. I am a pilot and my wear on the back heel is something I am concerned about b/c it seems to wear fast, but maybe normal. Do order ONE SIZE SMALLER than normal. They run large.

Perfect for work -
I work for a railroad and I use these boots for my dress uniform for passenger service. They are very light, not as heavy as most big workboots are. They are easy to lace up and the laces don't come undone. My boss has commented that they are perfect for passenger service.
