Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support
Lightest sneaker my size 18-footed son ever had. However, the first time he wore them the front started coming apart. Also, he has been getting blisters on the bottom of his feet when he works out, I think because they must run large or wide.

Good for elite athletes -
People have said this shoe is uncomfortable that maybe so to a certain extent. It take the Nike free concept and that makes your feet stronger which maybe painful for some people who have never trained their feet prior...I had the frees prior and these shoe are very comfortable. - There for agility's and athletic training- this is not a running shoe in the pure sense.. Basically do not buy the shoe unless you actually train at the collegiate/pro level. This shoe is super responsive to cuts and accelerations drills but if you don't already have those down very well this shoe might not work out for you.

Not a well designed shoe.
Just very uncomfortable. My feet were aching horribly by the time the day was over, and I wasn't doing any running or weight training in these shoes. Do not buy these shoes, that’s all I can say.

 |  | Greetings from the Northeast... How amazing to come home from work not 24 hours after placing my first order late last night to find your Zappos box on my porch! If only God could answer prayers that quickly... I am sure my son will enjoy his Spring Break Sandals - even though I bailed on the extra arch support (indeed, a mom thing...) for another brand. The Ocean Commuters are cool indeed. I truly intend to shop Zappos in the future and perhaps one day this JRZ girl will hike the Appalachians in some new boots down South... Thank You.
