I have small feet and often buy kids sneakers since they're cheaper than the same model in "ladies". I purchased the Blue Shadow color and definitely find them comfortable. The only issue I have is that the laces aren't white, they're a sparkly silver. You can tell if you look at the picture closely but it’s not mentioned in the description and I didn't notice when I purchased the sneakers. I assume a 12 year old girl would love them but just a warning. I'm still keeping them, I wear them at the gym, and they're great running shoes.

My daughter is very picky...
My daughter is very picky about her shoes. According to her, these are very cool shoes and are what the other girls are wearing to school (5th grade). She is very sensitive, so it is hard to find shoes that don't bother her feet and she says they are very comfortable. They seem to be holding up well too.

Excellent child's shoe for sports and style -
I bought these shoes for my 10 yr old daughter. She is a strong runner. She's been wearing them to "train" for a school track meet, PE and for casual wear. She chose the style and is very pleased with the way they look and feel.
I followed the other comments and ordered a half size larger than normal and they are a good fit.

Great shoe -
This shoe is very cute. My daughter did a charity walk in it the first time she wore it. She walked five miles. She said her feet felt great. She also ran in this shoe. She wants to wear this shoe everyday!

Good experience -
My daughter chose her sneaker from many designs that Zappos has. When we got the shoe, the fit was perfect and she loves her new sneakers. My only concern was that shipping took longer than I expected.

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves them. She is going through a "no pink" phase, and loves the color of these sneakers. Finally no arguments on gym day!! :)
