I got these in tan and love them. Very comfortable. Good shoe for summer outings with lots of walking. The one negative is that one of the toe straps on each shoe is a little bigger than the other, but it's hardly noticeable.

This shoe looks fine, but it is difficult to walk in because of the fit on the heel. It acts like a flip-flop and I would not buy it again.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: The Teva shoe is comfortable to walk in, but I would like a leather.

Great walking sandals!
Cut well for wide feet and very comfortable. It took a little wearing to get the strap to fit right over my little toe, but once I adjusted the shoes properly, they are wonderful to wear! The look is a little "classic" for my taste, but they fit wide feet well.

Still perfect after all these years -
Purchased this pair of sandals for my 84 year old mother, who has been wearing this style of Bass sandal for many, many years. She found the fit and comfort level to be perfect - just like every other pair she has owned.

Very comfortable sandals -
Years ago, about 25, I would vacation in New Hampshire and go to the Bass Outlets. I found these sandals and would buy as many as I could in my size. Never had any soreness in my foot. I stopped buying them close to 10 years ago and switched to slides, which were more stylish. I have been buying sandal after sandal without finding any comfortable pair. I finally decided to go to Zappos and inquired about Bass shoes. The style I bought so many years ago is still being manufactured. I ordered only 1 pair to check the fit and am now going to order more.
Thank you Bass for still making them and for the same comfortable sandal.

Run Narrow -
I like the look of this sandal a whole bunch, but I'm very unhappy with the sizing. I read all the other reviews, many of which said the shoe ran a bit narrow. I ordered them in Wide to make sure I'd have a comfy fit. When I got them, they were SO narrow! I am returning them, sadly, and not sure if I want to gamble on the Extra Extra Wide, as I've never worn that size before...

Nice Summer Sandal -
I just got the shoes. They are very cute and great for a day at the park or to run my errands. The buckle rubs a little on my skin though. When I walk, it make this little sound. Pros beat the cons!

Love my grandma sandals -
I ordered white ones and when I first got them they looked a little like grandma/granola sandals. But they are easy to dress up, and now I love them. Do get them a size up! A lot of people say the straps are short, but they just have fat ankles, the straps are perfect.

Comfy Sandal -
I live in Florida, so comfortable sandals are important. This sandal does quite nicely and they look great. I have both the burgundy and the tan versions.

How to fix the strap -
At the shoe repair store, I purchased a product called "Shoe Stretcher". Spray the strap that is tight around the ankle and wear the sandals for one hour. This made the sandals much more comfortable. The spray does not discolor the leather.

Love Them!
I have just purchased another pair of Bass Margie's. I go thru a pair a season because I wear them all the time and walk for miles in them. They're the best! Like all leather shoes though be careful when they get soaked in a puddle - they stretch out.

The wide runs narrow!
I ordered the widest available and it did not fit! These run narrow in the wide sizes. Also, as another reviewer noted, if you have a high arch/instep, the strap will not work. I would have had to really tug to fasten it and it would have been too tight and uncomfortable. Too bad, because it looked like it would be cute and some had said it runs wide-perhaps if you are only a B or maybe C width, but if you truly have WIDE feet, then forget it. I was so disappointed, I went to a shoe store locally that specializes in wide shoes to make sure I was correct in what I ordered, and I measure as a size 6 and a snug D or more comfortable E--but the 6WW on this (which SHOULD be an EE according to their sizing and therefore should be on the roomy side for me) was not even CLOSE! I have ordered Propét and their wides run true to size for wide feet (just wish they had a cute and dressy summer sandal without velcro). Thank goodness for Zappos returns and free shipping both ways and great customer service--I'll keep looking.

Most comfortable I have purchased in years.
Being a senior citizen (with bunions & in need of knee replacements), the comfort of my shoes is critical. The style of the shoes fits around the bunion and the excellent cushion of the inner sole is perfect for absorbing shocks to the knees. They are the only shoes I will wear when walking any distance. Besides, they don't look like old ladies shoes! Thank you Zappos!

Short straps...
Well I thought I could get away with it...I have the same problem with the straps as many others do. TOO SHORT! I was so upset I wrote Bass about this issue.
Otherwise they felt like butter on my feet.

I have been trying to find these sandals for several years in my size. Seems like they are always sold out and I know why, comfort. The only thing that I would suggest is that the strap over the little toe be a little lower on the foot, seems like it is just a bit too high. It does not affect the comfort and I am finally glad to have a pair of cute comfortable sandals that can be worn with pants and skirts...

I've been buying these sandals for years, whenever I could find them. They are not dressy, but are plain, comfortable and well made, and look equally good with jeans or casual wear. Two or three wearings are enough to break in the sometimes stiff leather straps. My old pairs serve as slippers! Simply a great product.

It works.
This is not the most attractive shoe on the market but works just fine for slumping around the house and going in and out for casual daily business--to the store, picking up kids.
A small heel would be better. The sole is very very comfy!!! That's why it is a keeper.
