Fit, Form and Function -
My business often places me in formal, semi-formal, business-casual, and relaxed settings. I needed a shoe for semi-formal and business-casual events and the Bass Logan fit the bill nicely. The shoe is instantly comfortable and the color matches belts like they were dyed at the same time. My shoes almost never receive much notice but these drew a couple of compliments. Buy this shoe, you won't regret it.

My husband is extremely fussy about his clothes and shoes. He has a small foot, but very wide-AAA. He won't buy his own things, so I ordered these shoes. It was a pleasure to see that they are true to size and look GREAT!

Shoe is ok, but sizing with Bass seems off-I have to return this to re-size, but the other shoes I purchased are spot on with fit. I have stopped buying Bass shoes because this seems to always happen with their fit.

This is a very nice shoe for the price. Other reviews suggested it was a half to a whole size larger than marked, so I ordered a 10 and found it to be too short. Sent it back for a 10 1/2 and am very pleased with the fit and looks. Zappos makes returns very easy and I am becoming increasingly disinclined to ever buy shoes at a store again.

Great classic loafer. I like the comfortable fit and great look. Note that I normally buy a size 10 or 10.5 (depending on the shoe company), but as suggested by others here I bought a size 9.5, which fit fine. I may have even been able to go to a size 9. Also, if you wear these shoes in the rain you must protect hem with galoshes, or they will soak through the sole in minutes.
Now a quick plug for Zappos: Great service. They upgraded shipping to overnight on this order for free.

I received my pair a last week. First of all I must commend Zappos for making sure that I received them via next day service. They feel good and they look even better. This is my second pair of Bass shoes. I will continue to purchase Bass products via Zappos.

A nicely-constructed casual loafer. If you're a fan of the old USA-made Weejun you might want to go up half a size.

Classic shoe for a classic price -
My recent order with Zappos for the classic Bass penny loafer (sans side-roll, the correct style) was delivered flawlessly and quickly. The shoes, it goes without saying are perfect. For old school dressers like me finding these shoes at a reasonable price was fantastic. The size is as described, and the color and style are truly classic. Wearing them should make me feel like my college days, but I was a bit more of a Frye boot guy back them. Hmm, Frye boots, I wonder if I can find a pair?

An excellent shoe but just a little longer for the size than I had expected. Given the outstanding Zappos return policy, you might consider trying the next lower size.

The most classic shoe of the last century -
Although some may not realize it, this shoe is the embodiment of the all-round, goes-with-everything, campus classic, circa 1950 onwards. It can be worn with shorts, jeans, suits, without socks, and like slippers. Much copied, but rarely equaled in terms of value, durability, and looks, I highly endorse this shoe as a traditional emblem not only of bygone days, but also of continued practicality---and it can be resoled.

Classic black Bass Weejun -
This shoe is the classic black Bass Weejun, which has not changed much since its heyday in the 1960s. It's comfortable, durable and timelessly stylish. Zappos service was great and the overnight shipping is a real plus.

Good Shoe, not so true to size.
This is a good looking shoe that is comfortable. Beware that this shoe runs big. I normally wear a 10.5, I ordered a size 9.0 in these. I could probably fit into an 8.5. I would recommend ordering 1.5-2 sizes smaller than your typical running shoe.

Ordered 3E. Shoes and box marked 3E. But these Bass shoes just aren't wide. Seem to me like a D width.

I have been wearing this style of shoe for forty years. Tried other brands and other Bass look a likes, but this is the only one I come back to order again and again.

Bass Logans - Classic -
I purchased these shoes for my boyfriend at Christmas.
First let me say that Zappos delivered these shoes in LESS THAN 48 HOURS after I placed the order. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!
Second, the shoes... my boyfriend had a pair 35 years ago. He could not believe the quality and feel of the shoes.... exactly as they were 35 years ago. He LOVES these shoes.
Thanks Zappos! And if you are looking for a pair of casual classics... you cannot go wrong with these shoes!

Whoa, this shoe is long. I'm a true 15 and there is no way this shoe will stay on my foot. I'm going to try the 14 because it is a good looking loafer.
