Cute shoes!
These shoes are very cute and very well made. The leather is very soft and the inside of the shoe is nicely cushioned. Unfortunately for me, they are a bit too wide.

The best work sandals ever! At first the shoes were a bit stiff and rubbed the baby toe, but the leather has softened and now they are so comfortable! I love everything about these shoes – perfect heel height, the wide width is a perfect fit but still very flattering, and very sexy for a comfortable shoe. There are no issues with this shoe.

The shoe is great! Feels like walking on a cloud. My only complaint is that the Nero black, which I thought would be like a Patent leather, looked like black plastic with a nasty white film over it. So I had to send them back. However, I did keep the black leather. They look great with both jeans and skirts. So if you're looking for cute & comfy, you've found it!

I like this shoe. I needed to have a dressy yet comfortable shoe that was versatile - could go from meetings to dinner. This shoe works. The ankle strap was a bit too loose. I ordered a wide width, so make sure you really need wide width, because it is almost too wide.

One Great Shoe -
The Sofft Callan shoe is one great shoe. The workmanship is excellent. The look and comfort are also excellent. The fit is one reason I always look first for Sofft shoes. They are extremely comfortable and true to size. I will continue to shop for Sofft shoes, first.

Cute but small -
I should have read the reviews. Most people said this shoe was a half size too small and indeed it was. It's a very cute shoe, but very small toe box along with simply just being too short! Unfortunately, I wear a 12M and this brand does not come in a size larger for me.

A Nice Surprise!
I have been searching for a brown patent dress shoe with a heel height I can actually be comfortable with and this was a wonderful surprise. It is cuter than the picture and the color of the patent has a little bronze to it. The sole and heel are not dressy but this is not a factor once they are on. The rounded toe makes my foot look smaller--and I am a ten. I really love this shoe.

Cute shoe but...
Not the most comfortable shoe. The toes are scrunched and the inside leather is somewhat irritating - not soft enough. I love the look of the shoe so I wear it, and I ordered a wide size and does not feel as wide as it should.

I can't usually wear heels, but these are so stable and comfortable...I'm in heels again! I have a wide foot and narrow heel...these fit and make my size 10's look smaller...Love 'em!!!

Cutouts in an odd position for my foot -
These shoes are adorable in the box. The brown patent leather is rich, shiny, a great color. The toe box is just rounded enough to be very comfortable, all around styling is great.
If only this shoe didn't have cutouts! The larger outside cutout landed on my foot in a very strange place. The "peep toe" effect from the cutout exposed exactly half of the toenail of my fourth toe -- how weird is that? If only skin was showing, it would have been okay, but can you imagine how odd this would look even without painted toenails?
Dear Sofft: please make this exact same shoe in a version with no cutouts, and I will buy it immediately.
If you like the look of the shoe, it would be worthwhile to give it a try and hope that the cutouts match up with your feet in a more harmonious manner. I have rather wide feet with fairly short toes. Perhaps this design would work better if your feet and toes are more sleek and narrow?

Great look, but can rub the wrong way -
After purchasing the brown patent, I received more compliments on this shoe than I have any other in recent past. I have it in black patent too but the brown really sparkles. The sole and heel are great as far as being soft and flexible, but the uppers (on both pairs) have rubbed the top of my big toe by the first joint. Not enough to cause blisters or serious discomfort. I have worn them to do serious walking (1-2 miles during the day) and they do well but for these spots. Well worth it--they make my feet and legs look great--and draw those compliments...

Sofft Callan: The best shoe for the professional woman -
This shoe is very comfortable for those professional women that are on their feet the majority of their time. I found this particular shoe to be the prefect dress shoe, especially if your wear business attire to your work place every day. I also found this shoe to be the most comfortable if you have to stand a long period of time. The sole of the shoe enables your feet and legs to be relaxed at all times. To the designer of this particular shoe, I say thank you. It tends to make your feet look smaller than they really are. Overall, this is a very comfortable shoe that fits your feet, perfectly. I have two pairs; a brown pair and a black pair. Both pairs make my feet look so eloquent with my business attire.

My Favorite Shoe Purchases in a Long Time!
I'm an attorney and need comfortable yet professional good-looking shoes for the office - nearly impossible to find! I ordered the Callan in Black Patent and Dark Brown Patent and they are everything I wished for. In my opinion, they run true to size (I usually am a size 7 and the 7 wide fit me perfectly). My only gripe is that I wish there was an extra notch in the heel strap. Other than that, they're absolutely perfect! The dark brown patent has a pretty golden shimmer in the sunlight and the black patent looks so sharp. Zappos service is phenomenal. Ordered the day before and received them the next day!

Runs 1/2 size small -
I loved this shoe, but it runs a half size small--I'm a classic 9M and it turns out I need a 9 1/2, so I'm returning them. Well made shoe, comfortable, a great look with dress slacks which is what I bought them for. I'm a trainer and consultant so I'm on my feet in front of the room and walking miles through airports a lot, and these would have been perfect. I'll put in my request for a 9 1/2 (they're out of it in the dark brown patent) and hope.

Small toe box -
Pretty cute shoe. Heel is short enough for everyday use, but the toe box is very small. I ordered a wide and there still wasn't enough room for my toes. I think it's because there is padding in the toe box, so it doesn’t leave much room for your toes. I returned them.

Beautiful and comfy, except for the toe - These shoes are gorgeous (in dark brown patent) and were very comfy when I wore them in my house. At work the next day, however, my toes were very cramped. I am going to exchange for a half size up. I hope it works because I love the look of this shoe!

This shoe is very stylish. My 24 yr. old daughter was impressed that I had ordered it. The patent leather was softer and more considerate of my bunions and hammer toe, but I did order it in the dark brown leather which is really a smart looking shoe… but a stiffer feel.

Very pretty shoe makes my feet look smaller. It seemed short in length, however, and I will be returning it for a larger size. It seems as if it will be comfortable, which is unusual for me since I usually avoid heels.

This shoe was very nice and seemed like it would be very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was about 1/2 size too small. Since I wear an 11, there was no bigger size to order! I really liked the rounded toe box. Oh well - I'll keep trying!

I love the look of these shoes because they have a nice looking, lower heel. I can wear them with pants or a dress without having to wear a high heel, but the toe area is pretty tight and didn't loosen up with wear. I wore the shoes to work yesterday and still have blisters on the bottoms of both feet (around the balls of my feet and the sides of my toe). I'm hoping they'll eventually loosen up. Everything else felt right except the tightness around the front tip of the shoe.

Thank you for being so awesome! Yesterday I ordered several pair of shoes and to my absolute delight and surprise they all arrived today! Next week I am starting a new job and I needed some new and stylish shoes. I expected that they would arrive after I had started my
job...but they are here already...thank you! To top it all off I have a hard to find size of women's 4 1/2. Typically I go to department stores and find nothing at all; and am told to go look in the kids department; I often wonder if they are kidding...since when do kids wear a three and a half inch heel??? With Zappos I have found many fantastic, stylish and super cool shoes that fit...thank you so much for helping me have happier feet...keep up the good work it is greatly appreciated!
