Heel is NOT 2 1/4 high no matter how you measure it.
I am 5' 10" and won't wear a 3" heel because that extra inch or half inch makes me uncomfortable. This shoe is advertised as 2 1/4", but is actually 3". I wish heel measurement was accurate and standard like from the top of the back of the heel where the heel and shoe meet to the floor. The extra 3/4" makes this shoe too high for my comfort and I will be returning them.

Great all purpose shoe -
Love the look of a sling back, but don't always want a super high heel for work. This one works out great as the height is perfect for walking PLUS the clear heel looks cool! Can dress it up or down.

Cute dress shoe -
I have WW wide feet and needed a special occasion shoe. This was the only pair out of many that I tried that didn't hurt and actually fit. The buckle strap is nice because often those of us with wide feet still have narrow heels and the ability to adjust keeps the shoe from coming off. The style is not one I would choose if I had normal feet and could wear any shoe, but they are pretty cute and versatile enough to wear with dark jeans or other skirts and dresses. After a few hours of standing and walking, I wanted to take the shoes off, but they did fine for the event and would work for a night out.

GLAMOUROUS NIGHT LIFE WITH ANNIE COOL -
It’s amazing, but true the minute I tried on Annie Cool heels, they were so soft and comfortable. My feet felt so good in them. Usually I have to break in a shoe, but not these. I never took them off and went to a wedding reception wearing them all night long. I danced my feet off. I never had a pair of shoes like these before. My feet never hurt at all and people were asking me where I bought my shoes from. It was compliment after compliment. I'll be sure to buy another pair real soon because of the patent style, heel height and comfort. They also commented on black being elegant. Thanks Annie Cool.

I love Zappos for having such a great variety of wide shoes. With problem feet it’s sometimes difficult if not impossible to find wide shoes that don't look like they belong to “granny.” These shoes are comfortable and unique. I'd never be able to find such a great pair of shoes where I live.

Nice Shoes -
I was looking for navy shoe and found these. For some reason it is very hard to find navy. They are fine for work in the office, but I wouldn't recommend them for walking much. They are fairly heavy and tend to make lots of noise when walking on bare floors. However, they are very stylish. I would like the same shoes with softer soles.

Dressy Casual!
This is a unique shoe which has exceeded my expectations, both for its look and long-wearing comfort. With extremely wide feet and severe bunions (but miraculously no pain!), Zappos has changed my life, as I can find more ATTRACTIVE and WEARABLE shoes than I ever thought existed for an 8.5 or 9 WW width.

Pretty shoe -
I was excited to receive this shoe. I really thought I'd finally found a comfortable wide shoe. But, alas, I must return these. I know the leather will stretch across my HIGH instep, but I was afraid to take the chance and have the beautiful beading break. The toe area was wide enough, but the instep was narrow for me. I loved the look of the shoe and the quality.

Narrow and Unattractive -
The shoe was narrower than marked and looked cheap and scuffed up even upon arrival. The leather was not attractive at all. This is my first "Annie" shoe and will be my last.

So "Cool" I bought two!
This shoe was a surprise. I normally don't like the beading, but it makes the shoe very unique. It was comfortable from the first wearing, sexy and well made. Love it!

 |  | Hi, I just want to write and say thank you. I placed my order yesterday morning and this morning Fed-Ex was at the door. I had no idea what was being delivered and when I opened the package - I was floored. It took me a minute to register how my running shoes had gotten to me so quickly, when I remembered the email that I was being given a free upgrade and to expect my shipment sooner. I did NOT expect it to arrive less than 24hrs from when I placed it though. I must have told 10 people already ... it's just so nuts. I don't know how you guys do it but you've got a customer for life. We have 5 people in our household, which can add up to a lot of shoes!! You're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
