Very comfy -
These sandals are great! They are so soft and comfortable to walk in. The texture feels so good on the bottom of your foot. There was only one thing, which was that the straps were different lengths, I had to tighten one more than the other, and still one feels a little looser than the other. It's a pretty minor detail though. I really wanted the blue; they were out of my size. I don't love the tan color.

These are extremely comfortable, no break-in time, but they definitely do make a funny whooshy noise. The only reason I'm keeping them is because I'll be doing a great deal of walking over the next 3 weeks, and with my problem feet, I need something comfortable. Otherwise, I'd probably return them; because they look like something my grandmother might have worn. They look fine with capris or very casual skirts, but are too clunky looking for anything dressier. I bought the black, but the brown ones might look a bit better.

This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever found. I wear size 12, and have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes that aren't ugly. Also, it seems that shoe designers, when making backless shoes, don't proportion correctly for larger feet, and backless shoes don't stay on well because the upper doesn't come up high enough on the foot. This is the first backless shoe I've found that actually stays on my foot well. I can actually run in it! I've bought 4 pairs of these. I hope they stay in stock and that size 12 continues to be available! As others have said, some of the shoes hiss a little when I walk. I actually think this is a defect, because out of the 8 of these shoes I own, only 3 make the hissing noise.

Very comfortable. No squeak. I have a wide foot and I did not have any trouble. Comfortable right out of the box and able to wear them all day at work. The red is the color of brick, more like a burnt orange, but very nice with greens and browns.

Finally a shoe you can wear right away -
I have had bad luck with shoes lately. I have rather flat feet, usually every other pair I have ordered had too much of an arch and it would hurt my foot. These felt so good immediately I almost did the "Ohhhhhhhh" thing. I put them on and have not taken them off. I am happy I finally found a shoe to fit. Thank you Zappos, you are the best customer service on the net!!

Very nice sandals -
I needed nice sandals to take on vacation to the shore that looked good and were comfortable enough to wear all day. I bought one pair and wore them around the house for a couple of days. I loved them so much that I bought two more pair in different colors. They are very comfortable.

This sandal is terrific. Great fit and I have a 10W foot. Very supportive and comfortable. I wish Zappos would carry more good looking SoftWalk styles. This is a great sandal and I wear them almost daily.

This shoe is very comfortable. I purchased it in both colors, and it is the only shoe I've been wearing all summer. The wide width is true to size. I would recommend this shoe highly.

I slipped these on after a long day running around the office. They were immediately comfortable. Yeah! They're also cute. With a double wide foot, it's really hard to find anything that's comfortable.

Feels better then they Look -
The shoe is very comfortable. It is a little slippery if you wear nylons with them...the shoe bed is smooth. But all in all I like the way they feel. The look is better then the picture. I don't rate the look of the shoe as high as the comfort. If you are more for comfort than high style, you’ll love this sandal.

These shoes are the wonderful. Have worn them constantly. Due to several surgeries on one foot and constant pain, I have to change shoes several times daily. Not with these SoftWalk Barbados. I have worn them constantly from am to pm. This is my first pair of SoftWalks.

The perfect sandal -
This shoe is perfect, looks great, and comfortable right out of the box. Easy adjustable strap for a secure fit. I love these so much that I ordered another pair before they are gone! I plan on taking them to Europe this summer - they should be great on those cobblestone streets!

This is a very nice shoe. I have super-wide feet with a high arch, and Softwalk is one brand that I can really rely on for a comfortable, well-made and supportive shoe. This is such a terrific brand, and I find myself buying Softwalk almost exclusively because there is very little of the hit and miss I experience with other brands. I do wish Softwalk shoes in general were a little more fashionable, but Barbados is a nice, casual summer sandal that I don't mind being seen in. I plan to wear them with a skirt to my job on days I have no meetings. I've done this once so far, and they're fine and look cute. I ordered an 8WW, and they fit well right out of the box, with an extremely comfortable footbed. They seem a little long for an 8, but the width seems right on target. Two things that concern me: the edges of the straps are not as rounded as they could be, and they dig into my feet a bit. I think once they're broken in a bit they'll be fine. The other is that I hope they don't stretch out as they get broken in. The fit is good, but if they stretch, they will be too loose. As always, wonderful service from Zappos! I ordered them Tuesday afternoon and they were waiting for me when I got to work on Wednesday. You know, you just can't beat that.

Amazing Comfort Sandals!!!

Can't get beyond the noise they make. I read the other reviews and hoped the air noise made by these shoes was minimal or a hit-or-miss. Unfortunately, both shoes made that light whoopie cushion noise and I can't get beyond that. If not for the noise, I would have kept these shoes. I love the look (bought the red) and they were soooo comfortable. I bought my usual 8.5W and the fit was great, although slightly short.

Practically perfect in every way! At last I've found perfectly comfortable sandals! The Nubuck straps, so soft and flexible, make all the difference. And blessings on Zappos for bearing with me through three returns until I found Softwalk Barbados. The terracotta red is cute as well as comfy.

Love my sandals...
These sandals are fantastic. So wide, so comfy. The only issue I have, and it's a small one, is that the strap that is adjustable seems to be too high on my foot. I would like to tighten slightly, but it doesn't fall at exactly the right spot. It's probably my foot...

I had never worn an open back sandal before and was a little hesitant about buying them. However, they fit and feel perfect and I can wear them for hours. They don't slide off my feet. SoftWalk has never disappointed me.

Great walking shoes -
I bought these shoes for travel. Immediately, they were soooo comfortable that I've been wearing them all around town. They also provide very nice support. I bought them in a rust color which is neutral and coordinates well with most of my wardrobe.

Stylish, comfortable sandal -
Saw this shoe on another website, but checked Zappos to see if they carried and indeed they did! Love the no hassle return policy and free shipping both directions...anyway back to the shoe. Dear customer service/Zappos, you continue to amaze me. While I don't order very often, when I do, your service is second to none. This order was a real test. I ordered the bigger size in the Eric Michael shoes (which I was nervous about) as suggested and they fit perfectly. I had them delivered to our summer house in Maine, which has never had a UPS delivery before. They arrived in two days and they are beautiful. Now when I return home to New Hampshire and immediately have to go to a wedding, I will have the shoes I need. I have never dealt with an online company that has the service that you provide. This and the free shipping is why I return to you. Zappos has figured it out! Maybe you folks could teach the others how to do it right. Thanks for everything.
