I have been wearing these now for about a month including airport travel. Great comfort, nice look. Color is more of a plain brown rather than the touch of cordovan shown in the picture. At first I ignored other reviews that these tended to be small, but they were all correct. In my normal size 11D I could not squeeze into one with or without socks. So I went with a half size larger to 11.5D, which is now perfectly snug for new loafers. I am enjoying the non-slip rubber part of the sole at the ball mixed with leather at the toe. Pleasantly surprised these do not squeak like my other rubber soles on vinyl floors. Overall the amount of rubber used is cleverly sparse. The heel is rubber only at the bottom layer. It makes for relatively quiet and comfortable step compared to full leather soles without the dusty grey look you tend to get from all rubber soles. Here you have only 1/4 inch of grey at the bottom of the heel and the rest keeps a classic shiny black finish.

I find these shoes very uncomfortable. The leather is very stiff. The sides of the shoes are too high and dig into the bottom of my ankle bone every step I take. Not a good purchase for me as I cannot wear these shoes.

The shoes are very comfortable and the dark color allows them to be worn in a variety of situations from dressy to casual. The insoles are the best part. My family and I love using Zappos because we kid that you can "order them today and they arrive yesterday".

As usual, Zappos exceeded my expectations. The shoes shipped and arrived promptly. The shoes fit comfortably right out of the box and felt fully broken in quickly.

I have been a Rockport fan for a long time. I wanted a shoe that had a rubber sole as I was tired of always having wet feet. This shoe is very comfortable and has a rubber insert sole which lets you keep your traction in cold, slippery weather and helps keep your feet dry. No wicking.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. Stylish with a classic look. The heel is not the older Vibram sole which I did find to be a bit more comfortable than the current model, but all in all this is a very comfortable shoe.

Great Fit!
After trying 5 different styles for my 15 years old with a wide foot, this was the best! Great fit and comfortable - and he's very particular!

These are replacements for my husband's old pair and so I knew exactly what he wanted. They came the day after I ordered. My husband was amazed! It's such a breeze to shop at Zappos!

I had purchased other Rockport shoes and ordered the same size but this shoe seemed a bit smaller. I ordered a half size larger and it fit very well. I like the shoe a lot, I wanted a moderately dressy yet comfortable shoe and this is exactly what I got. The day after I got it I wore it all day at a conference (lots of standing and walking) and it was great, no blisters, no discomfort. I have to commend Zappos for their service. I called as soon as I got the first (too small) pair to ask about exchanging it. They offered to send out the next (half size larger) that day without charging my credit card for the shoes. What fantastic customer service!

Comfortable loafer -
Does what it is supposed to do, with a bit more support than the average penny loafer. I bought it for my 13 yo son for dressier occasions. He didn't complain bitterly, so that means it must be comfortable enough.

 |  | Wow! Very happy with your customer service at Zappos! Can I just tell you how incredibly grateful I am for your amazing service? I ordered this same pair of shoes from another online shoe store on 5/21, thinking that the service would be similar to Zappos. Boy, was I wrong. Yesterday after I had not heard about the status on the shoes, I emailed customer service and while they were pleasant and helpful, it was clear that the shoes were not going to ship as I expected they would, nor would they arrive in time for a wedding I have on May 30th. I cancelled the order and didn't know what to do until I thought about Zappos. I figured I would see if I could put a rush on the order and pay a little extra figuring it would be likely that I wouldn't receive them at the end of the week. You exceeded my expectations beyond belief!!! I placed the order around 10:00pm (EST) last night and by 12:00 pm (EST) today, they were delivered to my front door. And they are beautiful!!! I don't know why I would ever try to buy another pair of shoes from anyone else. You have a customer for life! Please tell all the people who work for Zappos, from customer service to shipping and receiving, to payroll and accounting and up, that your business model and company rocks!
