Love this shoe. I've been told I have arthritis in my knees. Was told about Earth shoes, so I thought I would try these. They are very comfortable and seem to help my knees. I plan on buying some winter Earth shoes. I was also very pleased with Zappos. The shoes arrived at my front door within 2 days. Thanks, and I will be using you again.

I always wear flip flop type sandals and live in sandals all summer. I find Earth's Tranquil 2 sandal a little uncomfortable. I think it is because of the heaviness of this sandal, the knot of material that sits above my big toe hurts my foot. I also got blisters on both my heels during the fifth day of wearing them, being on my feet all day. This was my first experience ordering from Zappos and was very impressed by the expedience of my order.

Good earth shoe, but large twisted knot design is too tight across top of foot requiring an extensive break in period.

Earth Tranquil 2 -
This is a great shoe. I had bought the Earth shoe Tranquil I last summer. I though it was great. The # II version is better yet. More stability (less flip flop movement). I have had a history of plantar fasciitis on and off through the years. Earth Shoes seem to have been able to keep the problem from reoccurring. I loved them in 1974 glad they are still here today. Shipping very quick and arrived well packed. I don't usually buy shoes without trying them on first. The only reason that I did this time was I had a previous pair for size comparison. Which is a half size smaller than what I usually wear.

Still going to try Earth shoes.
The overall shoe felt very comfortable. However, I could not tolerate the thong. It pulled my toes sideways from the big toe. Another annoying thing was that it kept making a somewhat rude noise when my heel would compress the sole. I am returning them for another style of Earth shoes. Zappos has excellent service and rapid delivery.

Fabulous shoes and so comfy! I love these shoes. I bought them because I am undergoing chemotherapy, and one of the side effects of my drugs is hand and foot syndrome. This causes pain and blisters on my feet. I needed a shoe that I can just slide in and not rub anywhere. These did the trick. I suggest ordering a half size down as these shoes ran long. These sandals are quite stylish and look great with skirts or pants.

Comfortable and doesn't look clunky -
I was worried that this might look a bit clunky but they look fine with shorts, etc. These are extremely comfortable and protect my back better than other shoes that promise to be good for your feet (Taryn Rose...). The strap between the toes needs to be broken in but it only takes a wear or two.

Instant gratification! Just received the sandals in black and slipped them on. The minute I got the first one on, I knew this was a winner. Gee, they fit the arch of my foot perfectly, and are not too wide. The look is slim and stylish. I don’t like the huge, clunky shoes that are popular these days, so finding casual/sophisticated sandals is so great. I haven’t worn Earth shoes since the early 1970s, but I'll definitely be trying other styles. At first I thought they were a little expensive for a sandal, but I've changed my mind about that. And as many other customers have said, having the no-hassles return policy makes me want to buy all my shoes from Zappos.

Love these shoes -
I have severe heel pain and these shoes make it possible to get through the day. My doctor said they'd make it worse, but he was definitely wrong. The negative heel was barely noticed, although my posture is better. I bought several pairs of sandals this summer; these are worn the most. I'm certainly going to get a few pairs of Earth shoes for fall.

More great Earth shoes!
Comfortable and versatile (in the bronze color). I also ordered the Earth "Salsa" style, and while I prefer the "Salsa" just a bit over this style, I would recommend both and am happy with my purchase. These are not "your mother's Earth shoes." (And I am old enough to be your mother.)

WOW - I love the sandals. They are very comfortable. I have been walking on bone on the pads of my feet for sometime now and they seem to take the pressure off. I can walk in your Earth shoes all day and my feet hardly bother me. I now have four pair of them. Keep them coming.

I love this sandal because of the ultimate comfort of the thick sole. Wow! I am a heavy woman and need that! I also think it is a cute shoe and receive lots of compliments on it.

Like walking on a pillow! I love these sandals. The moment I slipped one on, I knew it would be hard to take them off. They are so soft, so comfortable. Really great shoes. I have a wide foot, so I worry about shoes being too tight, but these felt great. I think they must run a little wider than marked.

Terrific sandals!
I bought the black ones, and have been living in them ever since. SOO comfortable, have been wearing them to work with dress pants or casual skirts, shorts, whatever. I like them because they're a step up from flip flops and have way better arch support than those things.

Love this shoe!!
I am very happy with this shoe. It is very comfortable and I can wear it all day long and still feel the comfort. I have plantar fasciitis at times really bad and this shoe definitely keeps my heel from hurting. I highly recommend this shoe and can't wait to get it in other colors!!

Wonderful sandals! The between-the-toes part needed a little break-in but the soft leather stretches easily. Now I live in them!

A surprising fit!
I have problem feet, and Zappos is a real blessing for me because of the liberal shipping and return policy. In the past I have hated to shop for shoes in stores because nothing works and the clerks try to be patient but I know they are just gritting their teeth until I leave. Being able to order shoes, try them at home, and send them back at no cost is wonderful. I still get discouraged, because my narrow, flat feet with really narrow heels just don't fit anything very well. I also have to wear prescribed orthotics now, and it is almost impossible to find shoes that accommodate them. The orthotics spread out the heel on most shoes so they slip off. Well, to the point... I thought maybe these Earth Tranquil 2 sandals might work because some people said they were too tight. I was hoping that meant they would work for me... but thought probably not. Surprise! They felt great right out of the box and they are very attractive. I don't need to use my orthotics. (At least, I have been wearing them for about a week without any pain in hips and knees and back that I usually do without the orthotics.) Wow. I want to try other Earth shoes now, but I love this casual style.

This sandal feels great on your foot. It is very comfortable. There was no need for arch supports as the shoe in and of itself has perfect support.

Great shoe - looks nice, foot fits perfectly into the bed of shoe. I did experience a few blisters as described in other reviews. I am trying to break them in and hopefully will have no more trouble. I have a very narrow foot and found these shoes to fit my foot well. I usually wear a size 9 1/2, but ordered a size 9 as I have found with most Earth shoes that I have that they run a little big.

Comfort Plus Style -
I love my Earth Tranquil 2 shoes as they definitely improve my posture because they force my body to lean backward somewhat. They fit well. The only change I would make is in the thong as the leather piece between the toes is a little bit thick, but overall, I would buy the shoe again.

Very comfy!
Although a little "chunky" for a sandal - these are SOOOO comfortable and still pretty cute. I recently had severe back pain and bought them because Earth shoes are supposed to help with back alignment; they do seem to make a difference.

Have them on now and I LOVE THEM!!! I've received "too many" compliments when I wear them. Foot slides in easily and they are so comfortable. I just started wearing Earth about a month ago and I LOVE THEM! I have joint and back issues and I've noticed a difference - less pain/no pain and I know it's because of the Earth shoes, sandals, and sneakers I purchased from Zappos!
