Good travel shoe choice!
I travel quite a bit, but am always at a loss when it comes to packing the perfect shoe. I am planning a 1 month trip to Thailand, and think these shoes will be the perfect mix of light/airy but also providing the walking support I need for a full day on the go.
Super comfortable, DO seem to run a bit big. I originally ordered a 10, my normal size...but because I have a narrow foot, I had to pull the straps very tight in order to make the shoe stay on. I was worried that the Velcro might give out, so I called Zappos and they overnighted me a 9.5, which works perfectly.
PS: This is the first order I've ever placed with Zappos, but I will definitely be placing more because I was so pleasantly surprised with their awesome customer service!

I love these!
I needed a comfy supportive walking shoe for two-weeks in Europe in hot/muggy weather that didn't look like a running shoe - these were excellent! They're adjustable for long plane rides (swollen feet) and were fantastic for long days of walking on cobblestone streets with great arch support and cushioning for my narrow/flat/bony feet. I find any occasion I can to wear them - great find for any casual wear and more protective than flip-flops! Zappos, as always, was amazing in delivery and service!

I have only worn these shoes for short periods so far but bought them for vacation which I soon will be on. So far, I love them. I have very problem feet and wear custom orthotics in a pair of SAS shoes for work. I have not found any shoes that my orthotics fit in that are comfortable. I was desperate to find something that I could wear on vacation with capri pants. These shoes are well padded and are comfortable. I have one foot that is a half size larger than other so having the straps across the top I can get a custom fit with each foot. I always have to have a shoe that ties or has a strap. I also have bony, shallow feet and these fit my foot perfect. I love them! I don't really like the look of athletic shoes and these are much cuter and are comfortable.
Thanks to Zappos I don't have to run all over the place looking for shoes. Thank you for your fast service as always.

So comfortable!!
These shoes saved me when I went touring in Israel! My feet are very flat and the built-in arch kept my feet from hurting after walking all day. I wore them without socks all day as well, and even when my feet expanded from the heat, the straps didn't dig in. Also, since the straps are adjustable, they are even more comfy. I highly recommend these and look forward to my next pair of J-41s!!

Nice, but not a lot of support and blister-prone -
Love the look, but I couldn't do a lot of walking on city streets in these (only Dansko and other athletic shoes are good for the long haul past 20 min.) and the ball of the foot area is where I get blisters - baby powder helps with that. Nice to wear w/capris & dresses, though - instead of heels.

This was my first purchase from Zappos. I ordered these shoes for our vacation and they are so cute. The first (and only) time that I wore them, they left blisters all over my feet. I ordered my regular size of 8 1/2 and that was a 1/2 size too large. Of course, I did not realize it until I wore them. I contacted Zappos via their live help to see if I had any options. The CS rep. was a great help. He exchanged them for me for a 1/2 size smaller and upgraded me to next day shipping. I truly appreciate his help and I definitely recommend Zappos to anyone looking for shoes. I know I will be back. Thanks again!!!! And remember, if you like these shoes---a 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. Save yourself some pain.

Great fit - sleek and cute. Oh so comfy, too, but after only 2 or 3 brief wearings, the nylon near the toes is already starting to split/fray.

Love them.
I never pay this much for a pair of shoes. Felt impulsive. And, well, this time I'm not complaining. I liked them so much I bought a funky pair of J-41 boots! My only comfort issue is that the ankle support sometimes digs into my ankle causing an ouch. However, I believe that will soften over time.

I'm in love!
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought 2 pair and may never take them off! I have a narrow foot and I bought my normal size. They are roomy, but the straps make them feel secure. They also make my feet look smaller.

This shoe is so comfortable I was able to hike for miles and still look cute with ultimate comfort. I took it in a size 8.5 when I usually wear a size 9. I had a problem with the velcro and the company stood behind its shoe and has made me a customer for life.

I like the styling of this shoe very much. I was looking for something that felt as comfy as a sneaker with more attractive looks. This shoe definitely fits the bill AFTER the initial break in period. One shoe wore a terrible blister on the back of my foot the first time wearing them. I was hobbled, but optimistic that they would ultimately work out. I was also unwilling to give up because they are very cute shoes! Anyway, they are now very comfortable and I can walk all day in them. I get compliments on them all the time.

These shoes are great! Great fit, very true to size. Wonderfully comfortable, like walking on a cloud and super cute! Nicely constructed as well! Nice for a narrower foot as you can adjust all straps to fit your foot perfectly.

Adding to my previous review -
I mentioned in an earlier review that I would keep the 7 and that is not what happened. Zappos was kind enough to let me return the 7 for a 7 1/2 which works just perfect - size wise for my normally size 8 foot. Has Zappos gotten any Customer Service Awards lately? They should! I have bad feet, so I'm not going to be able to wear these all day, but for something different to wear to the movies or out to lunch or a casual evening out, these will be a wonderful change from my usual athletic shoe with inserts that I have to wear most of the time. I'm really thrilled that somebody made a shoe that will fit a narrower foot. We narrow footed people are being forgotten about!

LOVE this shoe, but be sure to order at least a whole size smaller. Maybe one and a half size depending on your foot. I wear a solid 8 and I had to get a 7. My favorite shoe in years.

Decent shoe -
I was looking for a comfortable and light shoe for walking the dog, running errands, etc. I was originally really happy with the shoe, but I've had some really bad blistering on the heel and the side of my foot. It may be the shape of my foot and maybe the shoe isn't to blame. Otherwise, the footbed feels great, has good arch support, is a snap to take on and off. The shoe is cut really low around the sides and it feels strange to put on initially, but it hugs the foot without covering too much. Try them - if they fit the shape of your foot, they will be great shoes. Sizing wise - I am between an 8 and 8.5 (39 Euro); I got the 8s based on the reviews and they seem about right.

Great-looking shoe, but OUCH -
I heeded the advice of other Zappos reviewers of the Aquarius before buying and ordered down a half size and I'm so glad I did; otherwise I would have been swimming in my usual 9 1/2. That said, I was hoping for a lot more from the Aquarius. I first saw this shoe in a women's athletic/outdoor catalog and fell in love with the tan/sky blue style; I found it at Zappos for a better price and overnight shipping and decided to order. It fit decently, but I was still getting some annoying chafing and rubbing at the heel (the material at the heel is kind of weird and hard to describe - a sort of rubber maybe?). In order to alleviate the problem and get the best possible and most comfortable fit for my narrow-ish heels and feet, I inserted gel heel cushions. They've pretty much solved the fit problem, but now the velcro straps are almost too short! Ah well. It's still a nice shoe and I look forward to wearing it more this summer.

Perfect - I wasn't sure about how comfortable this shoe would be, but after wearing them all day the first day at work, I was convinced. Not only very cute, but they feel like I'm barefoot with arch support. I'm on my feet all day for my job and I would highly recommend these to anyone!

Not A Performance Shoe! For Looks Only!
I got this shoe because I live in Hawaii and am often in wet conditions that also require some foot protection (i.e., lava). The double-velcro on this shoe is weak and the seal breaks if sand or dirt is on either velcro surface (which is ALWAYS!) - in short, I can't keep them on my feet for more than five minutes unless I'm standing still on pavement. These are really comfortable, really cute, but they are only for show, not for real adventures. Oh, and the "removable insole" is not actually removable without destroying the shoe.
I recommend the Sideline Vegan from J-41 if you are actually going to do anything active - it's cute, comfortable, and tough. Its sole is also grippier. Aquarius is just... cute.

I just love these shoes. After buying one pair, I ordered a second. They are very comfortable, sizes run true, and the straps are so easy to adjust for loosening or tightening. I live in a walking town, so I depend on comfort to get through the day.

I am enjoying the shoe. Zappos was excellent about prompt shipping and it was free. Break in the shoes before you wear them for any length of time. They need to be softened up, but overall I am enjoying them.

Stylish & Comfy -
I wore them the first time on a trip to San Diego walking all around downtown, the marina and even one day following golfers at the US Open. No problems. I tried trail walking another day without socks and they started to give me problems. I got a blister on my small toe and the velcro on the one of straps rubbed. I'm sure this was because my feet got hot and sweaty and sand got in the shoes. I don't recommend them for dusty trail hiking without socks. They are a very cute shoe and great with just about anything. I know I'll wear them a lot this summer.

Instant Blisters!
After wearing these for about 5 minutes I got blisters. Where the mesh meets the seam is like a needle to the foot. The mesh itself is like sandpaper. Really wish I hadn't bought these!

 |  | Thank you Zappos and team! I waited til the last minute to order my shoes that I needed for a wedding in less than a week. I do a lot of online shopping, so no doubt I would be ordering my shoes online. I didn't see anything I wanted the first time I went to Zappos. So, I checked different sites, saw a couple of shoes that I liked, but I needed my shoes in a matter of days. Other sites had express shipping, but it was wayyyy too expensive. So, something told me to try Zappos again to see if they had anything I liked, plus they always have free shipping and just about every time I have ordered, they have upgraded my shipping to overnight, FOR FREE! So I filtered out the different shoes, and wow, I found the Promiscuous Beautiful shoe (for shoes are dear to my heart). I went ahead and ordered, and of course, they upgraded me to next day for free. WOW! That's not the kicker though. I received my shoes, and they fit, but, they just fit. Personally, I don't like my heel to touch the back, I like to have a little room in the back. I called on Saturday, told the guy I needed my shoes by that Thursday. Don’t you know he said Zappos takes a leap of faith and exchanges without having the first shoe back. I was so impressed. So, my shoes will be here today and I am so grateful for these shoes, and Beautiful has the 4 inches I love and are no doubt, comfortable. Thanks Zappos.com.
