Love the look...
I should preface this review by saying that I have literally owned the shoes for 48 hours. That said, I am surprised by how uncomfortable my little toe is on each foot when I'm wearing them - and I haven't even been walking around that much! I do not have a wide foot and the shoe fits perfectly otherwise. The footbed is soft and comfortable, too. I just hope that when the shoes are "broken in" so to speak, they are more comfortable for my little toes! :)

Walking comfort is great! I did get a blister on my heel on one foot the first day I wore them though.

Looked Great, Hurt -
This was a really cute shoe and I was bummed it didn't work out between us. I have a high arch, and hence a "tall" foot. This shoe didn't accommodate it at all and cut across my toe. The shoe hurt when I was sitting at my desk. It's too bad!

Not as good as I hoped!
The vegan material is not forgiving. It is hot and blister inducing. The heels have been so hard on my feet that I've had to push them down and stand on them to get through my day (that is with bandaid preparation). Unfortunately they can't be returned at this point. I will give them to a friend and hope she does better with them. They look cool.

Love them. Look good, feel REALLY wonderful. Sort of a sandal but not quite. Great for summer, very cool to wear and very cool looking.

Hot looking, but not for wide feet -
These are sweet looking shoes and I love the color. However, they are not for people with wide feet. I never considered my feet very wide until I wore these. They take some getting used to like any new pair of shoes. I wear them a lot now that they are broken in. They go with just about anything casual.

Very Fun & Comfortable Shoe -
I bought this as a 2nd pair after ordering one in black. I have received many compliments on both pairs. These J-41's were bought because I needed a shoe that had a decent arch support yet had the look of a sandal. Due to a foot problem I have developed I had to abandon my open back sandals & flip flops in favor of more supportive shoes. They rubbed a bit on the bone below my big toe, but I got lightweight, low profile "Peds" type of sock liners to wear with them and now it is fine. Though I think they are a bit pricey for the materials used in the shoe I would recommend them.

Not really moderate arch support -
I was a little disappointed by the arch support. The ratings really need something between "no arch support" and "moderate arch support"... Still, very light, airy and cute and comfortable right away. But not enough arch support for a full day of walking around (like a pair of Chaco’s).

Pleased - I love the look and I am happy with the comfort. I have a bunion and the blister on it now is not the result of the shoe. The right side is just fine. I think this will take care of itself, and be ok over the long run. A very well-built shoe, and I am glad to have a pair.

I love these shoes and have gotten many compliments on their style. My only complaint is that the rubbed a bit the first couple of times I wore them on my insole. It didn't stop me from wearing them, however, some break in was required. I would purchase them again.

Super cute and ...comfy?
These shoes are super cute but - like another reviewer stated - they took some time to break in. In fact, I'm not sure they are broken in yet and this is my 4th time wearing them. I got blisters the first 2 times I wore them on my little toe where the mesh meets the rubber part of the shoe. Overall, they are very comfortable and I suspect that once I break them in, I'll be very happy with them. I get lots of compliments on them. :-)

Feminine, practical, and comfortable -
Finally, an alternative to the Keens that are cut far too wide for my foot, which is not even especially narrow. I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like.

Fantastic shoe and really comfortable -
I don't like flat shoes, but these are so adorable on and feel fantastic. I love these! They are quirky and different and not your typical sandal. These are really the only flat shoe I wear and with summer starting, these are perfect!

Wonderful Shoes!
I love these shoes! I was looking for a cute, comfortable shoe for doing lots of around town walking. I live in a hot climate so I didn't want a really heavy shoe. This shoe fits all my needs. They do run on the big side as far as size.

J-41 Aquarius -
Bought the shoe for a good walking shoe for NYC and was totally surprised how comfortable it was. It did not rub any blisters, even without socks! Also, I love how the straps adjust on both sides because after a long day of walking, my feet were a bit swollen and I could adjust the strap so that it would not be tight on the top of my foot.

This was my first j-41 purchase and so far so good! I really liked the look of the shoe, which peaked my interest. It ran a little big, for me. I am a solid sz10 and have been for all of my adult life, but had to get a 9.5 because the 10 was MUCH too big and the 9.5 fits perfectly.

J-41 Aquarius-Vegan Review -
This is a great shoe - very comfortable. I highly recommend it. The only reason I did not give it a 5 on comfort and overall is because I also have the J-41 Libra and LOVE it - it is exceptionally comfortable. Now, I have had it longer than the Vegan, so I may just need to break the Vegan in a little more… but the Vegan is very comfortable for not wearing it much yet.

Really wanted to love these shoes as they look great, but where the top mesh meets the side Pleather is a huge seam that dug into my little toe. Also, the heel tab dug into my Achilles tendon. Since there are already shoes out there that are perfectly comfy out of the box (Keen, Merrell, Birkenstock), these shoes didn't seem to be worth the effort.

Everything I thought they would be!
These shoes are fantastic and well worth the wait (I have big amazon vegan feet, so they were always out of stock). I did need to break them in a bit, the first day I wore them I developed a huge blister on the back of my left heel but that doesn't happen anymore. I ordered an 11 and I usually wear an 11/12 and these fit perfectly. My single complaint is that they squeak when I'm running around on linoleum floors, so I took a point away from comfort because it's embarrassing how loudly they squeak sometimes. Overall, I live in these shoes!

I absolutely love these shoes! I wasn't sure when I was looking online, but after wearing these on a week long European trip I am sold. I will definitely being buying another pair in a different color. While my husband had blisters after walking so much, my feet where fine!!!!! They are super comfy and look good with shorts or jeans. If you are always on the go, you will love them!

I really wanted to like this cute shoe!
I was so excited to get this shoe. It sounded perfect. So cute while offering good support that traditional summer sandals do not provide. I tried them on and wore them around the house a little bit. They seemed fairly comfortable however tight in a couple areas on the sides of my feet. After looking back at the other reviews it sounded like a break in period may be necessary. I tried wearing them on two occasions with no luck. (A total of 3 hours of wear). My feet looked so cute, but were so uncomfortable. The stitching and placement of straps was putting a lot of pressure on the bony prominences on the sides of my feet. I sadly called back the customer service people at Zappos and they were nice enough to make an exchange for a different style. Even though I am happy with my exchange, I still wish these shoes would have worked for me...

Wanted to give it 5 stars...
I really wanted to LOVE this shoe, but there were a couple of things that kept me from 5 stars. First, the good stuff: super comfy footbed -- felt like walking on clouds. Super cute style -- I've already gotten a few different comments from strangers. The not so good: although the sides have mesh for ventilation, I felt like the footbed didn't breathe that much, which led to my feet getting sweaty. Also, I've had some serious rubs in places, including the back heel, the side ankles (where the strap attaches) and the front toe. I am really hoping that this is just for the breaking-in period and will then get better. Overall, a really good shoe.

Great comfy shoe -
I ordered the tan and pink because that was the only color available to fit my big ole size 10s, and I wear them with everything now whether they match or not. The big squishy insole is great. I can see how some reviewers are concerned about their big toe eventually rubbing through the mesh upper, but I don't raise my toe like that when I walk so no problems so far. My only complaints about the J-41s so far is that one, the sizing seems inconsistent between styles - the Aquarius were true to my 10s but the Sara Sports 10 was way too small, and two, they are made in China. As a "Jeep" brand, and for the high price, I was hoping for domestic manufacturing.
