Excellent kids (girls) skate -
These skates replaced my daughter's trainer skates and what a difference they made. My daughter is more comfortable and confident on these skates. The skates appear to be well constructed and should last a long time, though wheels and the brake will always need to be replaced.

Great fun!
These are great skates. The fit very well and can be adjusted to fit very snuggly over the ankle area, which is very important for stabilization. The wheels turn smoothly, too.

Great Skates -
My daughter had grown out of her quad roller skates, and it was time to replace them. I encouraged her to try inlines because I like that the inline skates are adjustable through 4 sizes. Her brother has this exact style which he got several years ago (but boys colors), and he learned very quickly to skate in an indoor rink. I took her to a sporting goods store so she could try them on and decide if inline was the way to go. She liked them, but I was unimpressed with the quality of the lower-grade inlines so we went home and found exactly what I wanted here on Zappos. These Mico 500's are very cool looking, but more importantly, they are easy to get on and off. It was a must for me NOT to have laces that could come undone on the rink floor. These have the bungee-type closure, in addition to the angled strap. They offer excellent ankle support, but yet aren't overly stiff because of the combination of the soft and hard boot. You can pick up a decent pair of roller blades for about $40, but if you want comfort and quality rolled up into one, I'd go with these. A child with aching feet is not a happy child. :)

These are superior quality. My daughter had really cheap skates before these ones. She got them for Christmas and in roughly two weeks she can now stop going down hills and make really great turns. Her confidence went way up and now she wants to rollerblade all the time, I can't get her out of them!
Some features that we love are that the lace ups have a slide and pull system to get them nice and tight. They also have lots of padding inside for comfort. Lastly, we love that they can adjust from size 2 to 5!!!
I would highly recommend them!
