The problem with buying blades is you have to put a bunch of miles on them before you know how they're really going to fit. And fit is the most important thing. I "downgraded" from a pricey pair of Salomon's to the Wing 8, trading high quality construction for this super-comfy Rollerblade boot. My time on skates went from sporadic to 2-4 hours a day, without even one break in blister or irritation!! I upgraded bearings, wheels and brake, but the stitching began to unravel in a couple of places. That said, I give it all 5 stars overall for the recreational skater who's going to put fewer miles on them than my daily punishment; 10+++ stars for comfort; and 5+++++ for a sleek look and awesome purple color. When you buy at a store they tend to push the K2s on you, but my feet think Rollerblade rules when it comes to comfort. It's about how much time you spend on them, not how highly they're rated.

Good rollerblades, but...
These are overall good rollerblades BUT 1. They didn't hug my feet inside snug; 2. Felt smaller than marked. I will return them. Sorry...

These rollerblades are very comfortable and they are lined very plush. My feet don't get hot riding because of the air flow so I can be out for hours. The look is very chic and overall I am happy. Thanks Zappos.
