Awesome ventilation.
They might be amphibian but mine have never seen water. They work great in the hot and mostly dry climate of Iraq. I use them as my everyday shoe and they see an above normal amount of gravel and handle this terrain. I also use a pair of Salomon Comp SCS for working out in the gym. They both fit great, right out of the box. With athletic shoes I always order a full size larger than my dress shoes which was the case here. These are easy to adjust as well and cinch up. Perfect for hot climate, with jeans or shorts and no socks or no-show socks. Zappos free shipping both ways, easy exchange or refund, and superb customer service, can't be beat. Simply the best, even from Iraq!

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart. I truly respect them for them taking their time with me. Most of all, I pray you realize you have the crème of the crop working for you! Congratulations for such great people who do not just go to work for a check but because they care about the people they help. Like me!!! Who knows if I will ever walk again but, I can say they gave me the hope that I may and can walk if I try, especially with my new shoes. Thank you Zappos for the best service anyone can ask for!
