These are not as comfortable as I hoped they would be. I am flat-footed and have a bunion on my left foot, and the low cut of the shoe (which makes them so cute) unfortunately causes chafing on the bunion. For someone with feet in better shape than mine, these might feel more comfortable. (These shoes do have a removable inner sole, but I found even after I inserted my orthotics that the shoes still kept chafing. Plus, after removing the textured inner sole that the shoes came with, the shoes now slipped when I walked.) Even though they’re not the most comfortable shoes I own, I still plan to wear them once in a while (because they’re so darn cute and can be worn with both jeans and summer skirts), but I definitely won’t wear them on days when I know I’ll be walking a lot. Besides their cuteness factor, I also love that these shoes are not made of leather, and that they have outer soles made of recycled car tires (kudos to the Simple shoe company!).

What was that? One day? Fastest shipping ever. But to the shoe. They look amazing, slip right on like I've already broken them in. Comfortable. I absolutely love them. I'm buying another pair right now.

Toepaz-cute and comfy -
These are really cute; I get a lot of compliments. More comfortable than I expected, I like the nubby insoles. I had to go up a half size from my usual; when I first tried on my regular size these were way too short where you toes go in at the front. For some reason my cat loves these shoes too, I can't leave these on the floor or she rolls all over them and chews on them.

These are the GREATEST, CUTEST, MOST comfortable shoes!! I bought dark Taupe and plan to buy yet another color. If you're on-the-fence...BUY THEM! You'll love them!

Cute shoe but not super comfortable -
These shoes are SO adorable. I get tons of compliments on them. I like shoes that allow my feet a bit of freedom and these certainly do.
Cons: The shoes hurt my toes when I walk a lot. Since there isn't much holding the shoe to the foot my toes end up doing a lot of work to keep the shoes in place. Also, when my feet get warm the shoes start to smell a little.
Overall the shoes are cute and I like the environmentally friendly nature of their components.

Very cute. I had to buy a half size up, after trying my usual size, and even then they are just barely long enough. Soles can be really slippery on wet surfaces. They are comfortable and cute.

These shoes looked even better in person! I can't wait to order another pair, wish there were more colors. The fit is great, the bumps under the sole make it very comfortable on my foot and I am just so pumped that these are sustainable. I can't wait to order more from this brand... highly recommended.

Simple - Toepaz -
So after reading all the reviews saying to order a half-size up, I figured if I ordered my usual size (9 1/2), they'd be nice and snug for walking, but they're actually a little large, mostly because they're so wide! I may have a long foot, but it's narrow, and their "normal" width is definitely not standard. I'm considering exchanging them and going down a half-size in hopes that the smaller size will be a little more narrow.

I LOVE my new boots! They are SOOOO comfy! I got the chestnut and LOVE the color! I always liked Uggs (or the look-a-likes) but they always looked so UGLY and fat on my feet. I like how these look on me. My husband also complimented how he liked the fur (he has a good eye for fashion). I wanted a 8.5 (usually wear 8 or 8.5) but the 8's are working well for me. These are my second pair of shoes from Zappos and am happy again. The customer service is AMAZING! Thanks, Zappos!

Just Adorable -
These slides by Simple are so stinking cute. They fit me just right and I think if I had ordered a size up they would slip off my heels. Order your size! The little bumps in the footbed massage your feet as you walk, so they feel great to wear around town. Plus, they're eco-friendly. What's better than that?

Great little shoe -
I took other reviewers advice and ordered a half size up. They feel slightly loose, but don't affect my stride or comfort. They look cute on and I would order them again. I have wide feet and a bunion, and these shoes don't pinch. I really love them.

Made me sad.
I really love Simples but there was just something wrong with this style. I agree with the other reviewers who said that it runs small. My poor toes were squeezed and the heel counter just digs in!! Other than that they make my feet look great but I can't wear them for a long period of time, I like my corn-less toes.

Cute, but way too wide -
I purchased these shoes on Zappos, and was amazed at how fast they arrived. The shoe looked cute, and seemed comfy, but it was wider than marked. I have a slim foot, but I also have flat feet, so they "widen" when I'm standing, even with that, the shoes were too wide, didn't hold on to my foot at all, but my toe and heel fit perfectly end to end...
Don’t think I will be purchasing another pair, not even in a smaller size...

Great casual comfort - It's pretty and practical. It runs a little small so order a half size larger than your usual size. It’s the prettiest shoe from simple that I have and I have four pairs!

Sorry to see them go - Shoe is so cute, but the sizing is way off. Just like many other reviewers I found this shoe to be smaller than marked. About a whole size smaller than marked. I have fairly wide and short feet so I gambled on the fit and lost. Sorry to see them go back, but there was no way these would ever fit.

I absolutely love these shoes. This is also my second pair because I wear them so much. I’m typically a size 7, but a 6 1/2 fits perfectly and doesn’t rub or create any blisters. I wish Zappos had more of the "natural patent" though. I plan to buy more of this style as it becomes available!

Cute shoes!
At first these shoes were a little snug at the tip of my big toe, but they stretched out after a few wears. I have very narrow feet and they fit my feet fine. I typically wear a size 7 and this size was fine for me. They go with everything!

What is up with your sizing Simple?
I love the hippy punk look of the plaid Toepaz, and I love Simple's attitude and use of recycled materials. But the sizing is completely off! I wear a 9 normally and could only begin to fit into a 9.5 but only with squashed toes. A 10 provided ample toe room but huge heels, with the shoe falling off every few steps. Like many comments before, it seems this line of shoe is cut very short yet very wide. I am sending these back, sad but relieved not to cram my feet into another ill-fitting pair of shoes. Simple, please check your sizing. I want to love you shoes!

Simple sizing not so simple -
Comfy shoe overall, and the nubby footbed is great to walk on. However, despite ordering based on an old pair of Simple sneakers, it still took three tries to get the right sizing. The shoe seemed to keep getting wider, not longer. So now I have shoes that are pretty comfy, but slip off the heel (even with spacers), and don't cradle my foot as snugly as I'd like. The first pair, ultimately a whole size too short, was much snugger, therefore providing a better step. The third pair, great in length, is too wide for, say, running to catch the subway or shifting a car.

Cute, comfortable shoe... I bought a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. I love the "bumps" in the sole. I may have to have them in every color!

Not quite a half size smaller. I love the shoe, very comfortable. I am a Privo fan and this has the same footbed. I have a narrow foot, so I feel going up a size might be too large for me. It's a little tight for my toes, but not uncomfortable.
