Classy and comfy -
I love a shoe with a strap and a rounded toe. The heel height is just right on this one - not too high, yet dressy. This is my first pair of Softspots and I am looking forward to trying other styles. There was a little adhesive on the shoe in a couple of places, but I was able to rub it off by myself.

Good look -
Right height with the strip. Very comfortable to walk and no pain on the front toe area after long day. Very satisfied. I bought a navy color and plan to buy another color.

Dissatisfied -
I have a narrow foot & I thought this shoe would be perfect. It is too wide. The top of the shoe has a huge gap, & the strap was very loose, and the heel slipped. It felt too short and I thought that the style was clunky, not attractive at all.

No breaking in required. They look good, too. I have pretty wide feet and ordered the medium (because Zappos didn't have the wide) and the medium was fine - plenty wide.

The next best thing to levitation -
What I didn't like: The metallic finish on the brown pair is a bit shiny. What I love: These shoes go with everything. Jeans, slacks, skirts, shorts, capris, dresses ... you wear it, and they’ll work it. The insole grips quite well without feeling sticky. Support is present and well distributed, the cushioning lavish, and the fit itself is absolutely perfect. The soles provide ample traction - even on wet pavement - which is another plus. These are adept "all occasion shoes" that are so comfortable they can be worn all day long and, if you're up for it, all night as well.

This shoe totally delivers on comfort!!! I have wide feet to begin with, but I can still stretch out my toes in this shoe! I've gotten compliments on it every time I've worn it. One thing, the leather upper around the top of my foot rubbed my skin for the first two wearings, but by the third wearing, I wasn't even conscious of my feet from 7-5, standing and walking.

I haven't had "girl" shoes in so long thanks to my wide feet and the lack of selection for people like me. These shoes are so comfortable and so cute!! I get tons of compliments and I feel like a girl again. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making a shoe that girls like me can feel good in again.

I love this shoe!
This is the most comfortable shoe with a heel that I've ever worn! I have a very wide foot, so I really like it that the round toe gives me plenty of room. One little thing--the strap feels a little flimsy and is a little wider than the buckle, so they're a little tricky to buckle.

These are a very comfortable shoe. Nice heel height and good padding. The design is great – very versatile, from jeans to nice skirts. I ordered the teak brown but it is more tan than brown, and lighter than I wanted. But, overall a very nice shoe.

Love these shoes! Very soft and comfortable right out of the box. The size is spot-on for me. No rubbing or pinching. A roomy toe box, even with my high instep. Cushy insole, but not much of an arch support, though I think there is room to add one. Great shoe!

I got compliments the first time I wore them. I really love the rounded-toe, slightly retro look, and they are soooooo comfortable. I wear them all day with work clothes and jeans both. They still feel good even after I'm on my feet all day at work. I would agree with other posters that you may want to buy a little longer than usual (I went 8 instead of 7.5) but not necessarily any wider.

These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and I always receive a lot of compliments when I wear them. I am not an old lady and they are not old lady shoes. They are very very comfortable in the medium width.

Cute & comfortable -
I love this shoe. It is so comfortable! I could walk in this shoe for miles. And yet it is very cute. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, and sometimes will get a wide shoe, if available; however, in reading the reviews I decided to try a 9.5 medium which fit just perfectly. A 9 wide might have also fit. As for the color, I got the almond, which turned out to be a bit shiny pinkish but yet still very attractive. It looks good with khakis and white pants. I have gotten a lot of compliments on these shoes.

Comfortable from the moment I put them on...
I love these shoes!! I ordered a second pair in the bone a mere week after receiving the black pair. The light shade is much prettier than it appears on the internet. I took the shoes out of the box, put them on and went into Manhattan for the day! Not one minute of discomfort!

My dream shoe!
I just ordered the Viola and wore it the day it arrived to work a 10 hour shift in a hospital pharmacy. I am happy to say that this shoe did not rub anywhere on my feet--no blisters, no soreness. There doesn't seem to be a "break-in" period. I love, love, love the retro 40's look--exactly what I've been looking for in a comfortable shoe! The fit is true to size in length, a little wider than one might expect, but not too much so. Very comfortable!!! I truly hope that there will be more colors available in the future (a deep red would be fantastic). Keep up the great work, Softspots!

Awesome! Comfortable!
Got my shoes less than 24 hours after ordering them! They are very comfortable! Wide toe box, narrow heel (which works fine for me). Padding is nice. My size is between 8-8.5, and I ordered an 8 and they fit beautifully. This is just the first day, but I could see ordering more. Zappos is great!

Strange width -
I have pretty wide feet so I ordered W and WW to try on both widths after reading the reviews here. The rounded toe is quite wide with toe space to spare BUT the part that hits the side of your foot and rides over the top... NOT so wide!!! It was like I was supposed to have freakishly HUGE toes and narrower, more like average width feet. I walked around my bedroom for a few minutes in each pair and they cut into the top of my foot while my toes sloshed around the toe bed. Strange fit. The look of the shoe: I was hoping for more retro and cute but they are more clumsy and blah. The light tan had a pearlescent shimmer that was nice but I kept seeing orthopedic old lady shoes in the mirror! The brown ones were better and I could have rocked them but the fit was weird. With the right outfit I know you can make these work if the fit is right.

I ordered these shoes thinking they would be tan...they have a gold metallic look. Also seem a bit clunky in a 10W. But, very comfortable.

Wide is W-I-D-E!
This is an extremely comfortable shoe. I normally get my shoes in Wide as I did with this one, too. Man, when they say wide, the mean it. It was way too wide for even my big feet! So I returned it and ordered the Medium width. Hopefully that will be just right. So if you need a seriously comfortable shoe with a VERY wide width, this is the shoe for you. I think the rounded toe really accentuates the width, but I like rounded toed shoes as my feet need to be able to have ample room in the toe box. I really hope the medium width will work for me. Also, I ordered blue previously. You should know that this is a fairly light navy blue and it didn’t really work with my dark blue suit. So I'm going with the black this time on the second order, but I highly recommend this shoe for all around comfort and casual looks. I've had two Morton's Neuromas removed on both feet and have to be extremely careful on my shoe choices. This one works pretty well for short-term wearing.

Made for my foot. Okay, I love this shoe. It was exactly what I was looking for: mid-heel, super comfortable for walking and able to dress up or down. In fact, it was so much what I wanted that I kept it even though it was slightly too big. I got a 6 but I needed a 5.5. When I pulled out the plastic shape-holder I knew I had found my new best friend. It was a perfect match for my wide forefront/narrow heel. I've worn these out shopping and to work (teaching on a college campus - every class in a different building) several days now and am confident that they will retain their cushiness. If they made a 5.5 I'd get another color.

Love this shoe. Comfy, and a great shoe for work where closed toes are required. Still has a little sexiness to it! I wear a size 7 or 7.5, usually, but the 7 was not available so I took a chance on the 6.5, which ended up being the right choice. Fits perfect.

Most Comfortable Shoe Ever!
This is an amazing shoe! I have fairly wide feet and avoid heels most of the time. I bought this in the wide size and this shoe is so comfortable, I forget I even have a dress shoe on! They look great with slacks, skirts, or a dress... you'll love it!

My favorite shoe ever!
I was never into shoes until I discovered Softspots and Sofft and this pair is my favorite ever. It's incredibly versatile: I'm going to wear it to office (we're business casual), but I also wear it for summer walks. It looks like a pump, but feels like a sandal. You don't even need a pedicure when you wear them! Also, they are fabulously comfortable. I even wore them on the day when I was moving to a new apartment, carrying heavy boxes all day, and my feet felt as if I were wearing sneakers. I got three pairs: one for myself, one for my best friend, and one for my mom who lives abroad. If you like what they look like, you HAVE TO get them.

 |  | Best online service ever!!! I had gone to 8 stores to look for these sneakers for my daughter's 9th birthday, with no success. I finally decided to go online and search for it. Several sites popped up. I went to a few sites to compare prices and finally landed Zappos.com. I am so glad I did. The free shipping was great and brought my cost below the other sites' costs for the same item. However, after placing my order, within a few hours I got an email notifying me that my shipment would be sent in 24 hours. I had planned to present my daughter with this gift at her party on Saturday, however, her birthday was next day. Can you believe it! We received the sneakers within 24 hours of ordering it, on her birthday. This was the best service I've received online or in person for that matter.
