Sweet!
These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. I've always had a problem with rubbing straps and such but these are great. Better than barefoot because they provide support. The straps are just barely long enough across the instep but they do reach and I have a very high instep. GREAT SHOE! Thanks Zappos!

Good, supportive sandal, great for plantar fasciitis feet.
I bought these sandals for my husband after finding them on another website, but knew they would be cheaper at Zappos. Plus, I could return them without any hassle if they didn't work. They were recommended for people with foot support problems. My husband has plantar fasciitis in one foot and can't wear regular shoes anymore. He has lived in these ones this summer. He and I would highly recommend them for anyone needing extra support.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: New Balance casual shoes with special supports. He has several different ones.

Very comfy--strap over the instep could be longer -
I read glowing reports from others. I agree with them. These are so comfortable that no one could ask for more.
A 275 pound man with a high instep is still able to secure the strap over his instep while wearing size 11, 4E width sandals, but it would be easier if the strap were a little longer. Nevertheless, it is long enough to work. I think a man my size might prefer more width--especially if he has a high instep; but 4E will do for me if they have nothing wider.

Saved the day -
I recently had foot surgery and after 6 weeks received the small medical boot to wear. It was very uncomfortable so I looked on Zappos for something similar and found these. I ordered them and of course received them the next day as I always do -thank you Zappos!! They are fantastic. The straps are just like the boot, but they are far more comfortable because of the cushioning in the sole. I ordered them a size wider and longer than normal in order to accommodate the ace bandage wrap that I still am using. I have never worn anything like these before, but they are terrific and I will continue to wear them long after the current need is over. Because of my use, I am not sure how accurate the size is, but the non injured foot fits fine with the highly adjustable straps so I would say overall the fit is probably pretty true to size.

Dunham Sandal -
This sandal is acceptable, but not up the usual Dunham standard. The size is true to fit as usual, but the lining was a much cheaper material than usual and the stitching is a stiff thread that rubs the foot some, but has been smoothing down as I wear them. The two top straps are much shorter than normal than would come with a 4E width sandal. They BARELY meet the velcro on both of them and I almost sent them back, but decided to keep them since the 4E is hard to come by.

Very good shoe.
The product was very nice just the right fit and good quality. Thank you for having my size 11-6E. At times can't find my wide sizes that I need. And Zappos gave me free overnight shipping. Very good service for me.

Finally a comfortable shoe for big guys!
My husband loves these shoes! They are the first that he has found that are actually comfortable to walk in. He needs 4E and if you can find them at all, they are usually much more expensive than this. We highly recommend this shoe.

Like going barefoot -
Took several tries to find a pair that are waterproof, support a wide foot and have enough sole to protect the bottom of the foot from ruff ground.

I called yesterday evening and got a very courteous customer service rep. She resolved my problem. I must say, very quickly.
