I bought the Teva Omnium for an upcoming trip but I've been wearing them constantly since I got them. The one drawback is that they are slightly too wide for my feet. Other than that, they are perfect--easy to put on, easy to take off, very adjustable with the velcro closures and elastic laces, they provide the protection of a sneaker with the cool comfort of a sandal. Mostly, though, they are so comfortable. They are like walking on little clouds. I love them.

These arrived yesterday. I am VERY impressed with Zappos fast turn around, but this review is of the shoes. WOW... these are great. I have a VERY narrow foot and was concerned about the fit. They adjust so many ways that they fit my foot and ankle very snugly, but give my forefoot lots of room. In fact... I have had to compensate so much for loose fitting shoes that I find myself almost curling my toes to walk... hence I have arch and heel problems now. These shoes nearly force me to walk with my foot flat and I had no pain while walking around the house. Have tried them for long duration, but I don’t anticipate any problems. I also expected them to look HUGE on my foot... they look big, but not so big that they are unattractive. I’ll give them 4 stars for now and come back once I’ve worn them awhile and hopefully upgrade the rating to five stars.

These are great all around sandals. I spend a lot of time on the beaches & in boats & on docks, so having a comfortable pair of shoes to spend a lot of time in is a BIG bonus for me. These are also one of the few TEVA's I could find that came in 1/2 sizes so that I could get a better fit. Having a "quick" release strap is a great feature, too. I would recommend them to anyone for their comfort, durability & all around effectiveness.

A year later, still excellent!
I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica last year. They were fabulous. So comfortable right from the start, no problems with blisters or anything like that. They got absolutely soaked in the rainforest and took 2 days to dry, but that could be because we had no air conditioning down there. It was just too humid for them to dry. I just wore them at Disney, too, and again they were fabulous. After a long day of touring, my feet did not hurt at all. I wore them all week, too.

No break-in required!
I love these shoes! I walk for fitness (approx. 20 miles/week) and have been using these shoes as my “walkers” whenever the weather permits. They are great on slick surfaces and incredibly comfortable. They adjust in so many places that I was able to mold them to my feet. I have bought Keens in the past and still have several pairs (shoes). I have bunions and found that the Keen sandals were aggravating this condition; but the Teva's don't give me a problem at all! I bought my usual size, and initially thought they might be a 1/2 size too big, but when I adjusted all the straps, they were perfect. Thanks, Zappos!

Love em! Very good looking and talk about comfort!!! My 60 year old feet thank Teva for these shoes. They are not by any means "old people" shoes. 20 year old feet would be happy too.

Love 'em!
Got these the day before a 3 week trip to Australia. Wore them for hours and hours on this trip and served me well from The Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest to Bondi & Manly beaches -- great shoes super comfortable and highly adaptable. I like a roomy shoe and need a wide toe box so they were great for me -- but if you don't need all that room up front you may want to try a half size smaller.

I love my Teva Omnium's (and Zappos). I received my first pair of Teva's and had ordered a half size larger after reading some of the reviews but had to send them back--I would say these are true to your regular shoe size. I have been wearing them for two weeks now and they are VERY COMFORTABLE. I am looking forward to wearing them on our upcoming cruise vacation. Zappos was excellent and the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Thank you Zappos for enjoying your jobs.

Great Outdoor Shoe -
Bought these shoes for a rugged trip to the Galapagos Islands, where we had multiple wet landings. Shoe was great for these, plus keeping on for hiking (dried out while walking). However, once they dried out, they really smelled, so I had to wash them out with soap and dry on deck where there was a breeze. They claim they have an anti-microbial material built in that is supposed to prevent any smell, but I guess it only battles certain environments - not this one. Bit of a pain, but I am still glad I had them on the trip. Incredibly comfortable and looked great. Chocolate chip is a great color, especially as I was with other people who had the olive ones and were getting them mixed up. Also, they felt big when I bought them, but I tried a size and a half down, too, but they were too tight, so I stayed with my original size and found that they ended up fitting well overall. Since they have adjustment straps, this helped me to get a better fit.

Great for wide feet -
I wear an 11 wide shoe due to a nerve problem between two of my toes. I cannot remember the last time I was able to wear a pair of sport shoes right out of the box, but I was able to wear these to Disneyland the first day I got them... no pain, no blisters, no nothing!!! Bought two more pair right away. Even got a pair for my Hubby. These should be perfect for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. They don't look any gawkier than your average pair of athletic shoes, and because of the colors available, a little bit more stylish. Nice sandal design allowed for plenty of ventilation. Great walking and beach shoe.

Great Beach Shoes!
I bought them to walk the beach - and they work great. Just hose them off after. Toe space is a little wide if you have narrow feet, like me.

The perfect summer shoe -
These were out-of-the-box super comfy. The rear elastic was a bit snug the first 2-3 wearings but loosened easily. The velcro straps & toggle binding (on top) led to a perfect fit & the cushioning on the inside let me wear them hours & hours from Day 1. I LOVE these shoes.

My husband and I got these shoes to go whitewater rafting and they were great. They are so comfortable and they felt very sturdy and gave me great balance. I highly recommend them!

Overall a very comfortable shoe. When I first got them (mid-summer), my feet were often hot and sweaty in this shoe, but I quickly got used to it (and it rarely feels hot anymore). I like that you can adjust the straps on top and in the back. My only wish is that they didn't make my feel look like "duck feet." But, at least my feet aren't hurting anymore.

Great travel sandal -
I wore these for several days in the hot Tuscan sun and was impressed by how comfortable they were while walking up and down the hilly streets. They fit me perfectly with no break-in necessary. After a long day of use, however, my feet reeked… although the sandal itself did not. I suppose that this is simply the Teva experience. Overall a great sandal for travel.

Fantastic support but...
Incredibly supportive but... 1) With my high instep they are not easy on or off, need a shoehorn 2) Got a heel blister the first morning wearing them & I wasn't walking that much 3) Hosed them off after this somewhat muddy morning & the upper still has a funky smell. I got these shoes for summer work at a farm. I love the way they fit & hope my blistered area toughens up. I learned last year that for hiking my feet need regular walking shoes with socks.

A most comfortable shoe!
I love these shoes! They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I love how bouncy the heel is, giving me extra energy in my step. And quiet! I was walking in the park and nearly stepped on a robin. She had her back to me and just did not hear me like she would've had I been wearing any other shoes. I do think that they need to go back to the drawing board on the odor control. I have not been known for my foot odor, so I was surprised when I took them off after a long day and was overwhelmed with foot odor. It could be because I wear them all day long, with no socks, of course. Anyway, that does not bother me so much, they wash easily. These shoes are adjustable from all angles, so the fit is great.

Comfy but clunky -
I bought the Teva Omnium for a trip to Maui, but ended up hiking a lot less than I anticipated. I wore them for the first day where most of my walking was up and down the beach, but the sand kept getting stuck inside the shoes and I had to take them off. If it weren't for the sand, I would have kept them on as they were very comfortable (with the exception of one small blister on my ankle). My biggest complaint is that the toe box is very, very wide in an unattractive way - I like active, yoga/gym-type clothing, but these shoes were way too clunky looking even for this relaxed look. I'd wear them more often as everyday shoes if they weren't so clunky.

Awesome "athletic sandals"!
I needed something cooler than a sneaker, but sturdy enough for long walks in warm weather. I chose this shoe partly because I thought I might be able to wear my custom orthotic in it. Turns out the orthotic didn't work with the non-removable footbed, BUT the construction of the footbed is so terrific and the arch support so good that I was able to go without my orthotic entirely - something I haven't done in 12 years! Apart from all that, the shoe is airy, super-comfy, and fun to wear. Also, the adjustable straps across the foot and at the heel allow you to "custom fit" the shoe. Love it.

Disappointing ankle pressure points.
I was hoping to wear the Teva Omnium kayaking etc. They are well made and the foot bed is very comfortable, but they rubbed the top of the back of my ankles horribly. Wearing socks would probably relieve this problem, but would then not make them practical for the water.

WONDERFUL!!
This is a great shoe!!! I love it! It was comfortable right out of the box. I didn't have a problem with size at all. I have had foot surgery and have to be careful with shoes, but this Teva shoe worked better than the Keen's I paid way too much for. I like the fact that my foot felt supported like a tennis shoe, but was cool like a sandal. You will not be disappointed with this shoe!

Heaven on earth -
I have foot pain problems and also pelvic pain - these Omnium shoes are heaven on earth - have just ordered a second pair. They are cushiony beyond belief - am back to taking walks again and no need to dread shopping. They are obviously not quite sandals, but are airy enough to be comfortable on a hot summer day. Note: I was so thrilled that I also ordered Teva Westwater and Teva Volterra. These are not nearly as cushiony, though the Volterra are acceptable, and I kept them - the Westwater also had a snap problem and had to go back. Teva, if you are listening, please make all your shoes with the same cushioning as the Omnium! My normal size is 7.5 for sandals and flats, 8.0 for tight sturdy-type shoes. Taking others' advice, I ordered 7.5, which are roomy, but not so much so that I could wear 7.0. Btw - toe area is nice and wide, but heel area is not too big and can be adjusted tighter if necessary. Loooove these shoes.
