Awesome once they broke in, but very heavy. I too have suffered cuts from these and had to wear them for about 2 months until they finally broke in. I continued wearing them due to the extreme support offered by a sandal. If I wear them all day, my feet feel more supported at the end of the day than they do with most other shoes on the market. The upsides: the comfort, the support, the looks, the long wearing sole. The downsides are: they are heavy, they are very loose, the strap should be snugged down by about an inch. This combined with a heavy sandal has led me to many trips while walking up stairs. They will cut you until they get broken in, or until your feet develop the callouses up top.

Zappos is a great company, and their customer service is number one. I had a very helpful and friendly salesperson to speak with. Initially these sandals were extremely comfortable, but after a few days both my feet have cuts from the leather, on the upper part of my feet, near the top of each foot toward the inside. I can no longer wear them because of these cuts. The other reviews of these sandals are very good, so perhaps it is my feet that are the problem.

I\'m extremely pleased with these sandals. They are comfortable, stylish, and extremely well made. Every time I put them on I thank myself for spending the money to get these quality sandals rather than picking up some cheapos at the discount store. These sandals fit true to size and I was pleased they are available in half sizes.

I recently ordered a pair or Earth Shoes in the Exer-fit style. I went on about how comfortable they were and my husband decided he wanted a pair also. He loves his and that's all he wears, except for when he goes to work. I tried his and they are more comfortable than mine. You have to try a pair of Earth shoes. You won't regret it.

I have been looking for a size 9.5 sandal forever. Found a pair on Zappos. As usual all went extremely well with Zappos Service. The shoe, Earth Sandals fit very loose at first. I attribute that to one area. The sandal inner foot strap is interrupted with an elastic cotton strip that appears to serve as a giveway point that enables the sandal to wear easier on the foot. In fact, what it did to me was make the sandal fit looser and sort of flop on the foot. I’ve caught it on steps, Jet onramps, and escalator stairs. I think I have alleviated the problem a little by getting it wet in a recent rain storm. I am letting it dry. So as with most leather, it should shrink. I would mention it to Earth Inc that the sandal should be dunked for several minutes to size to fit or better make the strap solid leather that would lower the price.

This is my first pair of Earth shoes. Based on this experience, I will definitely be trying other Earth styles as well. The shoe is very comfortable. I was a bit concerned about the dropped heel, but I have found it to be natural and comfortable. I would definitely consider purchase these again.

Great sandal -
I just can't say enough for how great Zappos is- I order one day and receive the shoe the next day- as a free upgrade. I really like these sandals also- didn't realize they were men's but a customer service rep changed my order to the correct size, and I received them very quickly. They negative heel is easy to get used to, and is not uncomfortable at all. The leather top is very sturdy, and my feet are still getting used to the stiffness. These are more comfortable than the exer-fits- and I am sure they will get more so as they get broken in. They are very nice looking, although a bit too expensive. They look well made, but they are sort of wider than I was hoping for - and I have wide feet. I did walk 5 miles at the Bronx zoo the other day in these, and my feet were only tired- my plantar fasciitis was not killing me.

These are great on my feet just spent a week at Disney, wore them all week. No more foot pain.
I have wide feet but most of the men’s shoes will fit my foot.

Comfortable, good looking and burns more calories -
The low heel on these Earth shoes really work to burn more calories and engages your anterior fibula (the muscle in the front of your lower leg). Took a couple of days to stretch out the leather upper to accommodate my high instep which now fits very comfortably.

I have three pairs of Earth shoes and thought I would purchase this pair for summer wear. What a great pair of shoes. The most comfortable pair of flip-flops I have ever worn. They still give that great Earth shoe incline, and are just plain comfortable. Plus, they look great. Highly recommend.

I also wanted to send a much belated thank you for a service you did for me about a year ago. At the time, my son broke his leg very badly and we needed some "basketball breakaway pants" to put over it so he could go out of the house, as the cast was quite large. We couldn't find them anywhere, but my mother found them on your website.
