These shoes are not as comfortable to her as the ones we bought last year. She still likes them. But last years (star fish or sun fish) were better.

Not as wide as marketed -
This shoe in a 2x wide size is not nearly as wide as you might hope, at least in the bigger boys' sizes (11.5). The velcro would barely close over my 5-yr-old's foot, meaning the strap pinched the top of his foot and his skin came into contact with the velcro (vs. leather) part.
Good looking shoe, though.

Durable, great shoe -
I purchased these for my 2 1/2 y.o. and he is wearing them with ease, no redness, even with the first use. We are extremely pleased with the shoe and the service at Zappos.

Great, easy to put on sandal -
This is the second pair of this type of sandal that I have bought for my 3 year old. I love how he can put them on by himself. They are a great fit, and don't look too "babyish". The width is also great for my son's very wide foot.

Great Sandal!
I love these sandals. My son needs an XW shoe and they can be difficult to find. These shoes are comfortable and easy for him to take off and put on.

Great Toddler Sandal -
My 2 year old son has XW feet so finding shoes, let alone sandals, can be tough. This one fits the bill. He can put them on(!) and take them off by himself and with the open, adjustable front, his little toes have wiggle room. It took a few days for him to adjust from socks and sneakers to naked toes, but now he loves them!

Great Toddler Sandals -
These are the only sandals my grandson can wear. They are very comfortable for him, no red spots anywhere, and they fit perfectly.

It's the second pair we've bought -
My son has very wide feet, with a wide girth, and this is the only sandal I've found on-line that fits well. He wore this same model last summer, and this year I bought a second pair. They are very durable, I rinsed them several times with water when they got dirty, the fit was good and they are comfortable. It isn't my favorite style, but I don't have much choice in that matter. So bottom line - highly recommended.
As for Zappos' service - perfect yet again,

These sandals fit my son perfect. He can only wear Stride Rite shoes because he has double wide feet and they are the only shoes that fit him. They didn't have any sandals in the local mall that would fit him, so I tried my favorite place to buy shoes... Zappos and they came through for me again. These shoes are perfect and hopefully will last all summer.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: only Stride Rite for double wide boys shoes

It is very common in this internet shopping world to be disappointed with an order, but Zappos has not only delivered what they promised, they "delighted the customer." I placed my order at about 2:30 in the afternoon (11:30 pacific time) with no special shipping requests and they were here at 10:00am the following morning. I did not pay any extra for shipping, actually shipping was free, and the product that arrived was exactly what I ordered. They fit perfectly and Zappos has a customer for life.
